Good for Jason. He knows Ted and will continue to make him delightful and compelling however his therapy plays into the coming episodes.

But why did it deserve all those Emmy awards?  I'm overlooking something?

Maybe rewarding quality workmanship that just happens to come together to just tell one story that doesn’t celebrate monstrous human instincts?

I've got to disagree.  I've torn through season one in a few days. One of the best shows I've seen in a long time.

No one has written her about this show in 6 months.  I watched the first 5 episodes today due to the Free Apple TV promotion.  I am loving this show from the beginning the way I loved Schitts Creek in later years.  That is the case even though the similarity to the plot of Major League with the female owner wanting the team to lose was a familiar storyline.  Since I am early in the series, it may be that she will become a fan again, which would be nice and a change from the other vehicle.  Still it is warm hearted and entertaining and there is occasional beef cake to spice things up.

Season 3 premieres March 15.  I can't remember, does Apple TV drop all episodes at once, or do they release one per week?

It depends on the series.

Some do, some don't.  

With Lasso, they'll release a new episode each Wed (12 episodes this season).

I'm wondering what people think of Season 3.  It's full of the feel-good moments that have always been a big part of the series, but I'm finding the storylines kind of incoherent.

Season 3 was a perfect conclusion to the series. It's sad to see this show is over, but from what I've been reading and overhearing in the TV world, they are going to be doing some spin offs. Possibly one involving Keeley, Roy and Jamie and/or one about Coach Beard.

I'm hearing all over the place that there will be a season 4, and Jason Sudeikis confirmed it'd be around the Richmond women's team.

I thought Season 3 was the weakest of all the seasons. It had its moments, but overall, it lacked the charm and direction of the first two. They recently announced a Season 4—maybe as a way to course-correct after the lukewarm reception to how they wrapped up the series?

I've got to assume Apple was willing to pay Sudekis fuck you money to keep this going.

Now, whether it SHOULD keep going or not is the question that probably won't be asked.

The show was lightning in a bottle.  You can't easily keep it going long term.  Not with today's audiences.

I'd have liked to see Hannah Waddingham get her own spinoff instead.

I also adore Hannah and would watch her in anything.

I just recently found out Hannah Waddingham was in Krypton. I watched a few episodes of that when it first aired but drifted away from it, I'm going to have to re-watch. 

Ted Lasso season 4 has started filming, in Kansas no less. Tons of shots of the filming, at Gates BBQ in Kansas City. I've read that Phil Dunster (Jamie Tartt) will not be returning for this season.
