Is there already a thread about what to do with old porn we don't want anymore?

I'm betting there is, but I'll start this one if not.

I have a short stack of paper porn that I don't want any more.  But I hate for it to go to the recycling bin.  Naked men worked hard to create it! :)

I got rid of all that stuff years ago when I moved to my present home. What I kept were the books acquired over many years of porn subjects. Mostly pictorial like stories of old Hollywood stars, movies, biographies, etc. I have a large library of books so they fit right in under "social interest".

One book is about the 50's mags showing males in g strings, mostly black and white photos. I use to get these (shoplift) by buying something like Time and putting one in the Time magazine when I paid at the desk. I know, bad me, but I wouldn't have bought the Time otherwise. I was too embarrassed as a 15 yo to just buy the " filthy" mag.

Another recollection from that time is "buying" one of those male physique mags and seeing a picture of this hot James Dean type in a G-string. I remember clearly the caption showing that the picture had been taken in a studio near to where we lived in downtown Montreal. I walked over to the building a few blocks away and it was a 7 or 8 story apartment building. I phantasized that this stud would walk out the door at any minute.lol.

A few years ago I looked at the small remaining collection I had, saw that some images were ones I hadn’t seen since I first had the gay mags “on hand”. I scanned the ones I really liked and tossed everything.

Now, about the VHS and DVDs….

I still keep a small collection of mags from the 60s and 70s, and a few newer ones, mainly of models whom I knew or by photographers whom I knew. I also keep copies of a few gay magazines that I was involved in producing, which have some photos in them, including a tasteful nude photo of my first partner on the back cover of one of them.

Oh, c'mon @CharlieSurely one of the magazines you have features you on the cover! Maybe with Casey Donovan?
