Indeed. But I do not have complains about the service I am getting for even less than 200, and by guys not watching the clock. If I do not share reviews is because they do not publish (Grindr is very generous) an ad or because they asked me not to tell how much I paid, and I do not want to lie.

This discussion always return, and it is always the same. I am all for escorts asking for 300 dollars and more, I used to pay that rate. I think it is great if paying 300 or more is good for you.

I am also for bargaining if it fits the escort's business model.

But I am specially for traveling, and getting excellent sex and company for almost nothing.

and i find the rate has little if anything to do with performance or looks. if anything the high-price prima donas are often boring in person.

I am trying not to respond judgmentally to judgmental statements.

For how many years we have had posters opening threads about 300 being the new standard?

There is no standard. You can pay whatever you want or can, as long as you are happy and satisfied with the service.

Just know that you do not have to pay 300 dollars to have a satisfactory meeting with an escort in the USA.

$300 has been normal for a long time, for established providers in big metropolitan areas.

Providers who ask $250 or less know they don't have (or can't deliver) what's necessary for a higher rate.

You can find cheaper in and out of RM but Covid has inflated the cost of living across the board. $400+ is definitely on the higher end.

"dont have or can't deliver"  .... really guy ... come on ... i've been with some thoroughly talented guys, and recently, for less than $250 ... again, as said earlier ... $300 is the newnormal ONLY if you let it be ... and using a blanket suggestion that those who dont charge a similar sum are inferior ... sounds like a marketing executive's outlook to me

I get supply and demand, but how much is enough?  When I hired my first escort . . . waaaay back in 1973/74, the going rate was $50.  Being a teen he let me pay $10.  In the 1980's the going rate was $100 . . . now it's $300.  Are the escorts going to price themselves out of business?  I don't know if anyone is worth more than $300.  That's just my personal opinion.  I suppose if made six figures that would be a different story.

I paid $300 once back in 1990's for a 24-hour period.  He was okay . . . but nothing to write home about.

I just looked online at an inflation calculator.  It seems that $50 in 1973 would be equivalent to $303 today.  :)

$300+ isn't right for you... And that's fine.

However, to make a blanket statement like the one above is ridiculous.

You certainly don't have to pay it, but don't besmirch those who do.

Times change.  Prices go up.  This isn't 1975.

Have you seen the MEAT prices in supermarkets these days ?  😲

If you pay more for it on your table, you can surely pay more for it in your BED...👍

I am not judging, good for them if they can get that money in an hour,

I agree, good for them.

Many providers see so many clients in a day that they cannot get hard or they use drugs and have issues performing after arriving to see a client.

Even while texting or talking with providers, to make an appointment, most seem okay.

It is after they arrive on drugs or have seen a few clients that same day, makes spending money on them such a waste.

Worse, is that some advertising clients use fake photos of other good looking guys.  When those photo thief fakes arrive, they expect the high hourly rate quoted even though the photos are not of who will show up for the client.

Yes, "luck of the draw" so to speak.

This site is helpful if a provider happens to be discussed.  The problem is that only a small percentage of available providers end up being discussed here.

I meant that I find your statement judgmental. In my experience, premium service does not equal premium rates. Additionally, there are many reasons why a provider would choose to charge a lower rate, specially in a highly competitive market. I meant that if our criteria to find premium service is looking at the prices, we will get disappointed.

Agreed different folks like different things and different escorts have different likes and dislikes and also different assets.

Some guys just bottom because is easier while others do it because they can't get it and keep it up.

same could be said about tops.

At the end of the day if numbers don't work the escort should review his choices and either lower the rate, move to another place or get another job.

The Fed's habit of printing more money is tanking the value of the dollar internationally ...so $300 is the new $200 in many service industries.

as long as dollars are desired and accepted in the whole world all administrations will kick this can down the road.

that wasn't about politics but inflation and how lucky we're to be Americans.

Are you sure?

Anyways, this is totally irrelevant for this conversation.

Yup... one site said $303 and another $306. Both were in Canadian dollars though.  In any case, a six-fold increase over 50 years doesn't seem unreasonable.  Certainly more reasonable than a $100K Toronto house in 1973 costing $2 million today.

I always get a kick out of escorts who say that you get what you pay for....if only that was really true. I've had better experiences lately with guys who are slightly less expensive....and I usually wind up seeing them again and again for longer sessions.

I never negotiate price... If someone quotes more than $500 for two hours I just move on without a response.
