If you own your own place and it's in your name, that information is available for anyone who cares to look it up. For that matter mortgages are public record so they can find out how much you owe on the place and your monthly payment if so inclined. So if you're that concerned, don't have them over to your place at all, or wait until it's someone you've seen a few times and have some level of trust with.

This. Depending on where you live you may find cheap hotels on Hotwire or Dayuse.

and what about when you and your provider turn on the hotel room TV to put some porn on and there's YOUR NAME being welcomed to the hotel!

As pointed out, that's an issue in more high end hotels. If you stay at a Novotel or Holiday Inn then it's not something to worry about.

While true, there are ways to hide that info from the public ie; buy in the name of an LLC or a trust. In NY, there are also ways to hide the purchase price from the public records.

But, to be fair, is your gent going to go to the trouble of digging into records to get this info?

When I was a bit more concerned both about appearances, and/or trying out a new gent, I would spring for a hotel. But honestly, I can’t remember the last time I did that.

Use this site, the great gents on here to get feedback on a provider you may be considering. While YMMV as far as activities go is true, I’d trust any gent on here regarding discussions of safety and discretion ??

I have said it many times before and I will say it again. If the idea of an escort learning one’s real identity is so terrifying that one cannot stand the very idea, then one should NOT be hiring escorts. I have never understood those guys who purchase throw away phones or have a separate escort phone to protect their identity. If an escort, or anybody else for that matter, wants to learn one’s real identity they can do so. I have, in twenty years of hiring escorts, NEVER attempted to hide my real identity from any escort I have hired. I give them my real name in my first contact email or text. I have also never had a problem in doing this. Again, the only way to guarantee anonymity is not to hire escorts.

I have no issue giving an escort my real name though typically only give my first name. My name is so common it's virtually impossible to find me in Google just using my name. Even my full name is so common that I have to be looked up by birthdate in conjunction with my name at the hospital to find my records.

I originally thought about using my nickname that very few people know when I started hiring but the history behind it would make it weird having an escort use it in a moment of pleasure.

I’ve the opposite problem - my surname is extremely uncommon. In fact, everyone with the surname in the USA, I’m related to within 2 degrees of cousinship. There’s even less now in Europe - and that handful are all 4th or 5th cousins.

Having said this, most gents if they make mention of it, just ask where it originates - then proceed to mispronounce it ? I’m so used to all the questions, mispronunciations I never give it a thought anymore with providers.

Use good quality escorts. The top guys know everything and will never ever be indiscreet.

If I turn up at a client’s place I’m dressed smartly, I’m discreet and could be viewed as your lawyer or accountant.

One escort I hired in the dead of winter, came to my place wearing a parka and only shorts underneath. Another time, a porn model came in wearing a harness and short shorts! I was so mortified...I‘m sure it gave the doorman something to talk about. lol

My concern was unnecessary. I just played around with the console for a bit and you can't actually type in a unit number. You can only search by name. That said, I have nonetheless found some of the responses highly entertaining.

Just don't behave like this or the neighbors might complain about the high traffic

I love my roommate to death but this place has officially become a whorehouse. I can't keep track of all these guys he brings over (sometimes 4 or 5 in a single day or night) so he can keep on busting a nut (he has four balls). Some of these boys are common gutter trash --- bitchy, mean, and act like they own the place. I'm letting my friend stay with me free of rent charge because he lost his job.

Have any of you ever had this kind of situation with a friend or roommate?

I agree with you in spirit and that's also my outlook when it comes to my hiring, but I do appreciate that some people might have jobs that could be put in jeopardy if some guy got mad at them and tried to make trouble with their employer, particularly if they live in some backward area of the country. I'm sure the mere whisper that someone has hired an escort could cause trouble for some people at work. I agree that it would be safer for those people to simply forego hiring, but for those who want to mitigate the risk without eliminating it entirely because they want the experience an escort can provide I don't blame them for using burner phones and doing other things to hide their identities.

Based on my budget, I will only be able to hire once every three months anyways. I could probably afford to hire once a week but at this stage of my life I'm prioritizing investments over lifestyle.

How frequently does that happen?

Not in all hotels I would assume ...

Over the latter few years before COVID, just about all the SPG, Marriott, Four Seasons, and Ritz Carltons I stayed at.

Once, shortly after checking in, it still displayed the name of whom I presume was the previous guest. I should have quickly ordered a couple bottles of wine from room service, and just scribbled a signature. Hehehe

People also mispronounce my surname because there are quite a few variants in the way it's spelled. The thing is each variant has a different pronunciation. Then there are those who pronounce every letter which really annoys me. There are enough famous people with my surname you'd think people would know how to pronounce it.

On topic, I never have hires come to me when I'm at home. It's easier for me to travel into the city to them. If they flake, I can just hit a museum or something and not waste the day. On the road, I try to book hotels that don't have keycard elevators or I just meet a guy in the bar if I'm not traveling to them which is what I prefer. Still they always get my first name.

Some years ago, when I lived in OC, a provider, knowing my fondness for twinks in leather, showed up at my door in high boots, harness and codpiece! He looked ravishing, but I never found out if the neighbors saw him. It was also a gated community, so I had to give the gate the provider’s name. I never really worried that much, though. My one neighbor commented on the candlelit guest bedroom and we both laughed. I told him I had an insatiable appetite.

Tell the condo association (or management company if they use one) not to display your name.

If you own the place and the deed is in your name and are concerned about privacy and the provider really wants your name, it's very easy to find that info out on your address. Real estate records are public info and most auditor and treasurer's have public websites where you just type the address in.

Not many escorts come to my city but I would be very uncomfortable having a provider come to my condo and not just for finding out my real name

How can you know that in advance?

Go on a review site like tripadvisor. Usually some reviewers will put if a keycard is required. But even if it isn't some big city hotels I've stayed in will require you show your keycard at the front door after a certain time at night. I don't like an escort knowing my room number anyway unless I've hired them before and would rather meeting them in the lobby

The Hilton in Lima, Peru that I stay at when I travel there doesn't have keycards but the staff is good at remembering guests. There were two times I had hookups (non-paid, guys I met on recon) on two different stays and while waiting on the elevator we were stopped both times and both of us had to fill out some form about a visitor and sign it and both times the guy had to show their ID. I bet escorts hate having to show their ID when the client can see their real name and I wouldn't want the escort seeing mine as well.

What else about hosting in your condo makes you uncomfortable?

If it's a provider I met with before and trust probably wouldn't have an issue with it.

Don't want a new provider knowing my address and being able to track down my personal info if they decided to do some easy research such as my real name and what I do for a living is the main reason. Also can be a security risk.

Would a teacher in a nearby school give his real name, I doubt it, or vice principal. An elementary school principal, certainly not.
