That I’m shy.

I’m not. I’m just an introvert. I can give presentations, go to nude beaches, etc without problem. I just enjoy time alone a lot. And avoid big parties. Prefer small gatherings.

That I’m mad.

I just have a serious personality. I’m not very talkative if I don’t need to be and when I say something or make a compliment or remark I really mean it.

That I grow pot.

Just because i grow plants for a living doesn’t mean is pot.

That I’ve a big dick.

It’s average thick uncut. My hands are just very big.

That I am an extrovert.

Having worked in customer service has made me very outgoing when I have to but I see myself more as an introvert.

That I’m very innocent.

I like to play dumb sometimes just to see how people react in certain scenarios.

That I’m rich kid.

Most of my friends think that my family is rich but in reality I’ve learned how to budget so I often buy things that I like or travel whenever possible. I’ve worked hard for the things that I owned.

That I must have inherited money or have a massive trust fund. No, I have worked hard, invested wisely, and landed some lucrative contracts. That‘s why I can afford a luxury car, take high-end vacations (well, once upon a time) and hire escorts.

I understand your point but in the South even nowadays most folks who have money they got it the old way inheriting it.

I'm aware the South is changing.

answering the OP @7829V question: Most folks assume I was born with white privilege... actually that came later in life, when I was born Irish-Americans were considered "ethnics" and were denied housing and job opportunities in many places. Some covenants excluded us based on religion and race because we weren't of the "Nordic branch of the Caucasian race"

This is me. I’m not shy at all, I’m just not a talker. I get energy from being on my own. I like the idea of having friends, but I’m not lonely at all when I’m alone.

Speaking of inheritance ... I befriended a frat bro from college and we have remained in touch since then - he’s a very successful eye surgeon in LA. About two years ago, we met for lunch and he told me about his grandmother’s passing. Of course I offered my condolences. In a teasing way, I said something about her estate (I knew she was from an old European family) and sort of left it hanging. He picked up on it - long story short, Granny left him and his sister about $44 million to split. So far, his lifestyle hasn’t changed much; he’s given a lot to charity, to our alma mater and set up a foundation or two. He maintains he knew she had some “resources” but had no clue it was that much. Or even close. He paid for lunch.

This is a deeper, yet eye opening topic, that goes further into to controversial topic race, specifically how the idea of race has changed over the years, where being “white”, meant something very specific, and a lot of people who are considered to be “white” now, weren’t always.....

It seems to be not so much about what they actually ARE, but more about how they LOOK ? I dont believe there is true WHITE, all people are mixed somehow.

Well...

It’s a combination of things... looks, is what people use to visually “pass”, as white, and obtain acceptance into whiteness. But, in addition to skin color (specifically in America) being “white”, was about specifically being a White Anglo-Saxon Protestant.

Any group outside of that obtained major discrimination, to include Jews, The Irish, and the Italian immigrants.

However, through social integration, last name changes to create new identities, mixing in procreation, and literally physical alterations (nose jobs, etc.) through the generations, many of these ethnics, merged into official whiteness and became part of the white race.

In current times, history is somewhat repeating itself, as we see similarities with Latinos. Many Latinos shocked the world when voting for Trump, and being staunch republicans.

Many Latinos identify as “white” (or at least “white Latinos”) , in national census statistics. Combine that with interracial breeding and mixing, they are working steadfastly to become the next grouping of ethnics, to join official whiteness.

John Kennedy was elected president 61 years ago. My mom was born around 1910 in Boston. She occasionally talked about discrimination against Irish and Italians when she was a child and young woman.

That was a long time ago

I always enjoy the royal variety show in 1980 in London in the presence of the the queen mother with James Cagney and the great Pat O'Brian.

And Danny Kaye, Lillian Giss. Cagney was a wonderful surprise, because few knew he was in London. One can see Danny Kaye saying "wow."

Not meant as a critical Comment

This is me as well. If I don't get daily alone time, I'm not someone anyone wants to be around.

There are certain people who would swear to their dying day I am a rambunctious extrovert though. To be fair to them, one point in my life I created a new persona for myself and gave myself a nickname. Since they only knew me while I was being this persona, they didn't know my true nature. The nickname has remained while the persona has been put to bed. Most people in my life have no idea I ever did this, so they would be shocked to know I did.

I do love how you ended this post making sure to tell us he paid for lunch. Lol

I think many people assume I'm a lightweight when it comes to drinking, because I rarely drink and never have had a craving too. But I can easily drink most people under the table and still walk in a straight line afterward. Never been drunk yet. If I know I need to drive I don't drink at all, or maybe just a single drink over a 5 hour evening. Lost a few people in my life to drunk drivers ?
