That's very sad. This has been a hard year and this is the worst time of the year for many people. I know I've reached out to a few friends living alone (and had a few friends reach out to me). Sometimes just that little text saying, "Happy Holidays, can't wait til we get to hang out again," is what is needed.

 

Wish the best for Chip's friends and family during this difficult time.

He was discussed here a few months ago in the Fetish section about a video he did of himself eating his own poop. He actually made it hilarious.

 

Sad to see such a vivacious type end his life this way.

 

I’ve had 2 friends die this way, one a 15 yo in my class in HS and another a 39 yo friend some 35 years ago. In neither case did the families acknowledge the cause of death. They went with the suicide explanation. Somehow death by sexual misadventure is hard for some people to accept.

Its kinda embarrassing to explain in certain religious or conservative circles.

That is really sad. I remember he was one of my early gay (even though it appears he wasn't) attractions. And it was more one of a gay attraction of the cuddling sort than a pure sex sort. Not sure if that makes sense but he is one of those people I could have set up an appointment and just held him. There is a pic on his RM ad that does not look good in that it appears that there were certainly drugs around. Of course, I don't know but it just looks that way.

The mentioned of a faked death made me think immediately of Killian James, of course, but it seems like Jamie's issues are more serious. I hope he gets whatever help/support that he needs.

My neighbor growing up killed his wife and used rough sex with intentional erotic asphyxiation as his defense.  He said that on their anniversary he hired a limousine and after dinner while driving home, they began having rough sex leading to her death.   The New York Daily News, a tabloid with a reputation for stating headlines had a front page headline which read. "He wined her.  He dined her.  He Killed Her". when reporting the event.   By the way, the defense did not work.

My hometown, modestly sized, had a fair share of high profile murders.  One involved a husband who killed his wife after they were separated.  They both worked for the town, and gave up those jobs to become subsistence farmers.  When that failed, she was able to get her old job back and he was not.  He waited for her in the parking lot at her job, killed her, then retreated home and cowered in a closet until police came for him.  The other cases were even more interesting.  It's so strange to me that a place I always considered to be quiet to the point of being boring harbored such events.
