Bed sheet protocol

A friend broke a wine glass at my house. I have a bunch of mismatched wine glasses, I reassured him it was no big deal, but a week later I got a box of six wine glasses he'd ordered for me.

Only two sets of friends have ever stayed at my summer house while I was in Europe. They never left a trace, and even left a superb bottle of wine.

We can always make an effort and wash the bedsheets, bring our own, place a big towel or a thick beach towel as posted by @purplekow

For me, i would never even consider inviting a stranger to a friend‘s house without informing them first.

You might also consider sticking with water-based lubricants. Silicone-based lubricants are, in my opinion, difficult to get out in the wash.

I always try to be considerate of the bed linens in hotels. If I know we will be getting into watersports I bring extra towels and even a plastic sheet to put under the towels. If sheets get wet I throw them in the bath tub like soiled towels. The chamber maids know what to do with them.

Before each meeting, I strip off the good sheets and put on the shag sheets. Even though I launder the shag sheets diligently after each, um, "use," they bear the scars of encounters past. Heck, looking at them now I see that they're starting to resemble a Pollack painting LOL. Time for a new set of shaggers, I guess.

i would get a set of 100% cotton solid white sheets and use bleach when washing them and don't use fabric softener. i like to feel of crisp sheets

especially if they are dried outdoors.

Incontinence and puppy pads work great. Just lay a few on the sheets and throw 'em away when you are done.
