Not everybody keeps address proof on their person. I don’t have such info on my typical photos IDs so I usually use a tax statement. Interesting. My Ontario driver's license has my address and photo on it, plus birthdate. It aligns perfectly with the Ontario receipt I got for Covid vax. So I photographed the two side by side on my cell phone. I hope that is going to suffice when I visit Montreal in September as I have planned. Edited August 25, 2021 by Luv2play

LD19847
All bars in Quebec must close from 5pm today as part of wide ranging measures: https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/montreal/new-closures-covid-19-quebec-1.6292622 Quote Quebec is closing schools, bars, gyms and movie theatres as public health officials race to slow the spread of the Omicron COVID-19 variant. Quebec Health Minister Christian Dubé said in the face of the variant, which appears to be doubling its spread every few days, the government had to take action to prevent the health-care system from being overwhelmed. https://www.quebec.ca/en/health/health-issues/a-z/2019-coronavirus/measures-in-force/activities-outings/restaurants-bars-breweries-taverns-casinos Quote Starting on December 20, 2021, 5 p.m., complete closure of bars, taverns and casinos. Restaurants remain open, but dining room hours are limited between 5 a.m. and 10 p.m. Delivery and drive-through orders remain possible outside of these hours. Capacity limit to 50% (with maximum table space). It is forbidden to dance and participate in karaoke. People must remain seated. Luv2play
I am glad I visited Montreal in September when cases were low and restrictions were being lifted. As a result I had a great 3 days and could enjoy restaurants and seeing some escorts at my downtown hotel. I avoided crowded places such as bars so didn't take in the stripper bars unfortunately. My strategy throughout this pandemic has been to travel domestically only during the downswings and hunker down during the periods of high cases and multiple restrictions on movement. So far it has worked. Right now I'm waiting for my booster so wouldn't travel in any case. Luv2play
With today's announcement of a new lockdown and curfew across Quebec starting New Year's Eve tomorrow, I take it all social life is screeching to a halt. What a downer for starting 2022.
Luv2play
I was able to get my booster shot just before Christmas so am looking forward to travel by mid January. Where to go is the big question. While Montreal would have been high on my list, it's not looking good right now. I may look south to US or Mexico to see what looks feasible. Some of these ailments can be found in any large North American city. Poisoned water??? That's over the top. Must be thinking of Flint, Michigan lol. tazmanian5230

Luv2play
Well, here we are at the end of January and things have not improved as fast as I had hoped. We are just going to start tomorrow in loosening of restrictions. My gym will reopen so that is a relief. But still not ready to strike out for a visit to Montreal as Quebec appears to be behind Ontario in dealing with the virus currently. At least the curfew has been lifted. Are there any signs of life otherwise?

SirBillybob
I got stir crazy after 21 months though I like my place downtown and preparing meals, exercising, and streaming had been keeping me reasonably occupied. Fucked off right after New Years, and 2 weeks following 2nd mRNA dose of entire prime series I had deferred (long story), to winter in Brazil. Hoping to land to Spring stripper crotches beginning to sprout up in my face though I have already put a lot of solid fixes behind me here. SirBillybob
Looks like strip clubs end of Feb, and restricting dancing has never applied to stage peeling or the private 2-step lap shuffle. Despardo and + Vegas_Millennial

SirBillybob
It looks like bars re-open Mon 28 Feb, earlier than I thought. Likely Campus that day but I don’t know if it will be an unusually busy night considering 2 months of shutdown and clients chomping at the bit. Still some restrictions I believe in capacity but less so Mar 14th. It has been at least 24 months since I had a private dance in The Village. LD19847
Stock has confirmed on its Instagram account it reopens next week. The first night looks like Ladies Night on March 2nd and then the regular night from Friday March 4th.

twinkboylover28
I'm looking forward to the day when US tourists can fly to and from Montreal without having to take any kind of COVID test upon arrival or departure to either country, or have to prove vaccine status.
