is Brooklyn to far to get a massage?

A few years ago I stayed in Brooklyn (Williamsburg specifically) and ran an escort ad, and the result was so-so. I was in town for other reasons so was not looking for a ton of bookings, so didn't mind. I wanted to stay in Brooklyn since I'd never been there and wanted a new experience, after having stayed in Manhattan every time previously.

The guys I did see were from Brooklyn so they were happy to have someone close by. The response was not as good as when I'd stayed in Manhattan, but I loved where I stayed and enjoyed the trip on its own merits. I think if you've got a free place to stay and it works for your photography, that's a good trade-off for any reduction in massage clients you might have.

I live in Manhattan but go to a masseur in Brooklyn regularly. Doesn't bother me in the least but it looks like I am in the minority here.

Would you mind sharing the Brooklyn masseur's identity who is worth a trip from Manhattan? Feel free to pm, if not comfortable.

My office is in Times Square area...so I wish every masseur was in HK. All kidding aside though, unfortunately it is the time factor for me. As opposed to HK area, it would be too stressful for me knowing that after the massage I have to hope train arrives on time and i get back to office within reasonable timeframe. Not sure how many others are like me where I can only get a massage during a long lunch.

Hope to meet you at some point!

What do you guys think about Long Island City. I found a very nice hotel very close to Queensbridge Park. Or should I stick with a Bushwick Hotel.

I will be in NYC July 20th-23rd

If I was still in NYC, I would travel anywhere to meet you. ?. I think LIC may be closer to those staying in Manhattan, but it also depends on the subway lines that hotel is close to, if they’re still using that form of transportation.

Just my 2c, hotels right now in Manhattan are pretty cheap. Does it make sense to rent one out in LIC?

i am casing out the area where I would move too. I am a portrait photographer and need space for shooting at my home.

I live in LIC. It's one stop to Manhattan on the 7 train and the E train from different parts of LIC. It's actually quicker to get from W Village to LIC than to Upper East Side, as an example, since you wouldn't have to change trains.

Maybe I’ll see ya around ;-)
