Mo Mason Posted July 10, 2020 Posted July 10, 2020 Such good feelings and positive emotion this evokes within me. I know this is such a gay cliche but if you've never heard Judy sing The Battle Hymn of the Republic... I so highly recommend giving this a watch/listen. It's gorgeous. mike carey, + WilliamM and + easygoingpal 3

+ WilliamM Posted July 15, 2020 Posted July 15, 2020 (edited) Such good feelings and positive emotion this evokes within me. I know this is such a gay cliche but if you've never heard Judy sing The Battle Hymn of the Republic... I so highly recommend giving this a watch/listen. It's gorgeous. Judy Garland sang The Battle of the Republic again at Christmas concerts in New York in December 1967. She was late and grumpy until audience members gave her a few Christmas gifts. Her voice was still fairly good Edited July 15, 2020 by WilliamM
+ Reisr30 Posted July 15, 2020 Posted July 15, 2020 Kate Bush always seems to make me emotional; can’t decide between Running up that hill or This woman’s work: + easygoingpal 1
wklukas Posted July 15, 2020 Posted July 15, 2020 (edited) Kate Bush always seems to make me emotional; can’t decide between Running up that hill or This woman’s work: Previously I posted a version of Running Up That Hill in the “songs that make you happy” thread...(Kate performing w/David Gilmour)... I have a sister living in London who met Kate long, long ago & has remained very close friends.... Over the years I’ve seen Kate quite a few times.....mostly in London & along w/my sister, invites twice to the countryside home...... Kate Bush = lovely, sweet lady Edited July 15, 2020 by wklukas + easygoingpal and + Reisr30 2
gilbert Posted July 15, 2020 Posted July 15, 2020 The first time I ever saw the Fountains of Bellagio I was with one of my favorite escorts, Troy. The fountains were dancing to Bocelli's Time to Say Good Bye, which Troy thought was the most romantic song there was and, he said, was kind of the theme song for the fountains. I have to agree. It's the most romantic song I ever heard and every time I hear it I think of Troy and the fountains. + E.T.Bass, + azdr0710, + easygoingpal and 1 other 4
