Having several myself I think it's a sensitive subject but what's everyone's attitude/taste for ink? I read a lot of push back regarding some porn performers and their choice of body art and curious if you ever thought of hiring an escort but were put off by their tattoos. Case in point for me is this Sean Cody performer. I think he's really cute but his choice of art kinda puts me off, and normally that doesn't happen to me.

Tattoos used to turn me off completely, but I tried one guy who had them and he became a favorite. Since then I’ve had several very good experiences with escorts who have them. Now I look at the whole person and review them as much as possible (my normal practice anyway). If the design is artistic, that’s cool. If it scares me, I stay away.

I wouldn't call them a deal breaker, but they are never a positive for me. I don't mind minimal ones on arms or even the torso, but when body art starts to cover up too much flesh I am turned off completely. I absolutely hate tattoos on the neck, face, and fingers and would never give someone who had tattoos in those areas a second glance.

This is an interesting one for me - I definitely grew up in the era when tattoos were something you got if you were (1) in the merchant marine/navy/marine corps; (2) were in a biker gang; (3) had been to prison. Some of my high school buddies then got tats that we thought were so 'daring' at the time - and they are a brushtroke compared to what we see now. Then I started working with some younger people who had very large, very expensive, personal tattoos - and realized it was a generational thing.

My issue with tattoos now is in some sense the message - which is personal to each person of course (and often it's just 'yeah I thought that was a cool design') - but I've been attracted to some guys who have tats that are clearly or subtly satanic (pentagrams, goat's heads, etc) and I just can not and will not 'go there' with anyone who has that sort of message on their bodies. I think this might be dense/unfortunate because it could be that such is NOT the intended message of the person bearing the tats.

How about a solution for those who want/like ink, but also don't want it for life?

https://inkbox.com/

I've actually used these for clients, as well as for fun. They look 100% natural, come in a wide variety of pre-fab designs and even offer a freehand tool for those who are artistic enough to do their own work.

Full disclosure: I once tried to do my own design with their pen. I am neither an artist, nor great with straight lines.

It ended up very humorous, looking like I had been day-drinking and decided to scribble on my leg.

My interest is gone when I see any tattoo or piercing. I've tried to get past it, but it's no go. For several years there has been an escort/masseur for whom I have lusted, but every time I've considered him, he has taken on more tattooing. Now my escort/massage interest in him is totally gone. My disappointment stays with me because I have met him briefly socially and found him very personable (and his legs :p).

Well, the subject of this string is pros/cons. We have seen some of the cons here. A lot of clients won't hire those with tattoos, and a lot of employers won't hire anyone with visible tattoos. I really fail to see any pros. Maybe someone who has one or some can explain it for me. Is it that you like to admire your own tattoos on yourself? Do you want other people to be admiring/staring at your tattoos? The only pro I can think of off-hand is that certain prison gang tattoos might protect you from rival gangs. Kind of like a skunk or poison-dart frog: the message is "stay away." For myself, I don't terribly mind tattoos on the arm, back, buttocks, or legs since I don't have to look at them much when having sex. But chest, hand, neck, and facial tattoos are a real turn-off. Some extremely handsome men get tattoos, and the message might be "I dare you to find me unattractive, no matter how many tattoos I get." Gorgeous Italian model Antoni Bialy (born July 12, 1991) comes to mind. Is it that he's simply tired of having everyone being unable to see past his beauty, that he needs to spoil the beauty? Or is he bragging "Look what I can do to my body, and still have people want to be physical with me!"? Certainly his tattoos must have limited his job opportunities. The logic totally eludes me, and I'd love to know the truth of the matter.

Just chill guys. I respect what people want to do with their bodies. (not a fan of face tats). I think a lot of guys look great with tattoos and they can really turn me on. I have no problem with piercings , unless they have like 20 on their dick. I consider most tattoos a work of art. Would never stop me from seeing and escort.

With piercings when you grow up you throw them away and put them down to youthful exuberance. With tattoos you are stuck with them for life unless of course you are prepared to put yourself through the pain and expense of laser therapy. I was talking to my boss one day and told her how much I hated tattoos. She pulled down her blouse and exposed part of one breast showing a dark stain. This was the result of 4 laser treatments to remove a tattoo she seriously regretted.

So glad this thread got legs! I love tattoos when they accent a sexy bod, not over take it. Nothing like a sexy shoulder/arm tat to catch my attention.

And I use to like piercings but now I find they just get in the way. Nipple piercings use to look hot but damn not fun to suck on.
