From what I understand the infection will hit 75% too soon with no social controls and the idea is to distance the 75% infection out to July so as to not overwhelm hospitals etc too soon and bide a couple more months for drugs, ventilators etc. Angela Merkel says 60%-70% of Germans will be infected. But whether it's to not ever get or to postpone getting the methods are the same.

It's the easy contagion factor of Coronavirus that is so damn scary.

Also, since contagion eventually is probable, boosting your immunity is incredibly important. Here's a short NYT snippet on the subject. Relax, don't stress.:

Can I Boost My Immune System?

Fears about coronavirus have prompted online searches and plenty of misinformation about how to strengthen the immune system. Here’s what works — and what doesn’t.

By Tara Parker-Pope

The immune system is a complex network of cells, organs and tissues that work in tandem to protect the body from infection. While genetics play a role, we know from studies of twins that the strength of our immune system is largely determined by nonheritable factors. The germs we are exposed to over a lifetime, as well as lifestyle factors like stress, sleep, diet and exercise all play a role in the strength of our immune response.

The bottom line is that there is no magic pill or a specific food guaranteed to bolster your immune system and protect you from the new coronavirus. But there are real ways you can take care of yourself and give your immune system the best chance to do its job against a respiratory illness.

Lower your stress. Worries about the coronavirus, the stock market and the general disruption of life have added to our stress levels, but we know that stress also can make you more susceptible to respiratory illness.

In a series of remarkable studies over 20 years at Carnegie Mellon University, volunteers were exposed to the cold virus (using nose drops) and then quarantined for observation. The researchers found that people who reported less stress in their lives were less likely to develop cold symptoms. Another series of studies at Ohio State University found that marital conflict is especially taxing to the immune system. In a series of studies, the researchers inflicted small wounds on the arms of volunteers, and then asked couples to discuss topics both pleasant and stressful. When couples argued, their wounds took, on average, a full day longer to heal than after the sessions in which the couples discussed something pleasant. Among couples who exhibited

especially high levels of hostility, the wounds took two days longer to heal.

The masseurs who continue to advertise; the clients who continue to book sessions; and the sites that continue to post ads are all acting incredibly selfishly, irresponsibly contributing to the possible expansion of infection. I completely get the hardship for masseurs, but it's no different than for tens of millions of Americans....the waiter, the bartender, the actor, the hair stylist, the hotel maid, and on and on. I personally could use a massage right now more than anytime in my life, and I don't even have much of a fear of getting infected from one, but THAT is not the point. The point is that we all have a role to play in slowing this down for the sake of others, for the sake of our health care system, which in many places is days away from catastrophe. Licensed massage therapists in most states have been ordered to stop indefinitely, and our community should be doing the same. If we're lucky - and I believe we will be - in 3-4 weeks we will start to see things improve, and then hopefully we can begin to resume life, and get our massages.

Agree regarding masseurs and clients. But “sites” don’t post ads... people post ads. I would take great umbrage if sites shut down. I’m certainly not hiring but don’t go messing with my star gazing!

Agree 100%. The sites are just a forum. It's masseurs and clients who need to make the decision to opt out right now. I've personally made the decision to not book anything until this mess passes. That said, browsing massage ads even now is something I enjoy doing. Nothing wrong with a little fantasy ;-)

Exactly, nothing wrong with fantasy, it's perfectly safe.

Many salient comments have been made above, and I applaud those who will NOT be having massages and/or hot play sessions. I am definitely following suit in spite of my being sympathetic and empathetic for masseurs and escorts and others who will not be able to employ their initial services because of CV19.

And fantasies are all we have now :(. It's nice to see what will await us when this is all over.

There is a guy on Scruff I ALWAYS wanted for a good 2 years. Masculine, muscular, top, handsome. 3 miles from me, he always told me he would love to fuck me passionately, but we both can't host. From time to time we fantasize with hot chats and send each others pics.

Yesterday he wrote to me he is alone at home for a week....

FUCK CORONAVIRUS! :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

If you catch it and are recovered, is it okay to resume?

In the press conference the doctor said the virus can mutate so just like you can catch the flu more than once you can catch corona virus more than once. Though, if Rm is any indication by the reviews section, it looks like most people still have not curtailed their hiring practices.

What I heard (from someone who is actually actively involved in researching COVID currently) is that, as viruses go, this one doesn't mutate "as bad" (my interpretation of what he said) and that they could likely find a common treatment. (Note: I am not a doctor or virologist and my statements are not meant to insinuate any promise or warranty, now or in the future)

That being said, even if I had gotten it and had recovered -- my hiring is probably curtailed until late May just based on the logistics of life under COVID. I'm living vicariously through the massage video thread.

Here is an article that speaks to the "mutations", based on extensive testing and study in Iceland.

No.

Nope

No not at this point

No change in my plans as of yet. In fact, I have a hot date scheduled for week after next! :)

I had a similar attitude then but now I won't hire till it's over and it was nice taking a glimpse of our state of mind just 3 weeks ago... Obviously our behavior has changed by now.

It hasn’t curtailed my hiring, just delayed my appointments. Both massage therapist and escort have been prepaid for the first two post-Lockdown appointments

Did you rescheduled them for April, May or June? That is the question. When will we go back to normalcy?

I just find it odd that all businesses are pivoting to to stay open with sanitation protocol and restaurants only doing drive through business. Yet in this crazy time, unsafe times for contact within 6 feet of anyone else, I am shocked that I have not seen one masseur change there ad saying what they are doing to protect themselves or their clients. Just mind-blowing to me. Yes, I am including all masseurs... like even the legit ones have not made any changes. Maybe it is a Southern Thing.

Anyone else see masseurs in agile in marketing safety for clients?

Just noticed that tonight Masseurfinder added a Covid19 warning... interesting. Now I wonder if it will curtail hiring and it the masseur will be happy with the warning on their page and walk from the site. It's a cliff hanger guys.

This is the COVID-19 advisory on Masseurfinder per Samk:

Due to community restrictions and precautionary measures, massage therapists may not be available to provide services at this time. Please contact providers directly for updated hours and availability.

This is the advisory on the cityboys website:

Despite the immense negative economic consequences, we also support this measure, since there is a risk of corona infection in our industry. The intensive contact between the guest and the escort can very well result in infection by latent carriers of the virus.

We hope that if the infection curve wanes soon, business operations will be possible again from April 20, 2020. We will publish information in this regard as soon as we have it.

If a gay brothel in germany understands the risk, why are there some clients (as evidenced by discussion here) still seeing escorts?
