I want my dermatologist in NYC so bad, and he knows it. He flirts back, as straight men who are secure in their masculinity do, not because it’s mutual (eyeroll).

My dermatologist in Paris could get it too, lol. I just stare at his mouth when he’s talking. His french accent sounds like a purr. Lol.

Yes. I’ve had two doctors in the past that were super hot. But they never flirted back. They both kept it very professional. But both have moved on to other practices.

I had a patient stalk me. She was in her 80s and demented. Once I treated her hypothyroidism, she stopped making sexual remarks and the letters to my home mailbox stopped, but she continued to pass by my office and stare in the windows. I also had an 18 year old woman who came to the office way too often regarding her carpal tunnel syndrome, My wife worked in my office at the time and she was not very happy with that situation. The worst was a middle aged woman who once came in for a breast exam at around Halloween time. She had always been a flirt and at times aggressive about it. She came into the office and asked if I had received pictures of her breasts and kept asking just that way. This led to a rather pointed conversation about the appropriateness of her comments. She said she was just trying to make a joke and was inquiring about her mammogram results. When it came time to do the exam. She had colored her rather ample breasts orange and asked me how I liked her pumpkins.

Patients like these are the reason I always have an chaperone in the office.

I also had a young man who was receiving testosterone injections for hypogonadism as a result of abuse of testosterone and gonadal insufficiency. He claimed he was unable to give himself the injections and he would come in regularly for his testosterone injection. He had quite the stunning physique and each time he received his injection he asked that he get the shot in the rump and he lowered his pants and underwear totally to the ground. Right after the injection, he would stroke the area suggestively.

So, point being, there are lots of flirts and more and from my point of view, male or female patient, I have a chaperone in the room.

Don't forget male nurses. I was in the ER a few months ago which led to surgery, and there was a small parade of nurses in and out of my room and as part of the surgical team. Three of them were young, tan, gym-bodied guys with thick arms that I couldn't keep my eyes off of. I don't remember saying anything flirty, just that I eyed them like slabs of sexual meat. (They weren't interested in return. But I had a hot dream later about one of them.)

I've been kissed while exiting the room, walking past patients a couple of times. Never been interested in any of my doctors. I don't get attracted to my patients, either, not that I'm the doctor for the Olympic swim team. What few patients I get in their 20s and 30s are usually quite obese. Most of my patients are either quite old or children.

I find it very difficult to believe you have never been attracted to any of your younger patients.

With no disrepect to your marvelous hooha.....

Wether it’s indeed platinum or rusted out like an old 1970’s Gremlin muffler....

To him it’s just a hole.....that’s frequently diseased.

Actually, my shiny hooha was perfectly healthy. But if you took the stairs up to the attic...

My previous PCP for 3 years in NYC is gay, and I had a strong feeling from the very beginning that he was subtly flirting with me.

I never fancied him, and he has a very good reputation as a doctor.

For some reason during the yearly exam, his "let's check the prostate" had a special soft, different tone from all other questions/statements he made, and he was always so "intrusive" in the way that he checked it, that it gave me the hint to change him with another one, as it started to feel a bit uncomfortable, even if he never crossed the border.

Was he handsome?

I have. Especially a dentist, and a few orderlies. Being in the military, mostly males, so there is a chance obviously. All extremely professional and competent, and before or during DADT policy. There were the occasional times during a procedure, especially when they were in scrubs or even khaki uniform, the inadvertent crotch press was oh so grateful observed. Of course, nothing more and still makes me quiver just bit "down there" thinking about it.... LOL

An aside, the one down side of the NE new policy in the military is that straight guys are now much more aware and private in locker rooms, showers, etc. And with it the banter, camaraderie, and gratuitous admiration of the male form. IMHO

I wouldn't say NEVER, but it really is quite rare for a healthy man in the ages of 20 to 40 to go to the doctor. I suppose if one were a doctor in the university health service or the STD clinic, that would be where one would find such men. I must say that I've had dreams of working at a university health service. The work doesn't interest me in real life, though; not challenging enough. I'd get bored (and my wood would become a board).

Oh? Us 30-40 somethings are at the doctor like clockwork, albeit for aesthetic reasons, but with the rising popularity of cosmetic dermatology, teeth whitening, or older gay men who are seeking human growth hormone or testosterone therapy, I feel like gay men are ALWAYS at the doctor lol. That’s not even factoring in being tested every 3 months (or more) for those who escort.

I serve an indigent population. No one would see me for cosmetic reasons, which wouldn't be covered by governmental insurance (or most other insurances). HGH or testosterone is only indicated if there's a deficiency and symptoms. Otherwise it's risky.
