What do you consider insulting?

Canadian paper money is $5 or above. There's the Loonie, a $1 coin that has a goose/loon on it, and the twonie, a $2 coin. When The Happy Tap in Windsor was open, I'd tip $1 in American bills and nobody every complained.

Common loon

I saw the above post in another thread and was wondering is this is really a thing? I can understand it being a little bit annoying but did not realize it could be at the insulting level of interaction. I also wanted to find out what other things that insult all of y'all golden heart individuals?

Money is money... no big difference between getting paid with 20s or Benjamins but the latter ones are easier to count I guess. I wouldn't use the word "insulting" on this subject.

An escort he told me: "I just don't count the $10 bills, I keep them in my drawer and use them for drinks during the weekend".

To @Calix_K I think it's the fact that's it's a coin is the problem more than the denomination.

Agreed, but still questionable behavior, especially when potential clients are in the crowd and watching this.

Yeah, if it weren't 2019. ALL former coin operated machinery today is pay by credit card and pay by phone now. Even soda machines.

Not every building or every city has been updated. The vending machines at my work still only take coins, and so do the pay phones. I carry change for when I need to make a call, because credit cards and bills are not accepted at the pay phones.

If you're using pay phone with a plural, I'm afraid to know where it is that you are. Now, back to playing on my Atari 2600 :)

Wow where are you working in the old strip in Vegas? They don't allow cellphones?

That is so trivial to me, I’m just appreciative that they hired me in the first place. With over 500 plus escorts to pick from in New York alone heck pay me however you want, whether it’s 20’s or even 10’s lol. It’s really not a big deal to me when I’m going to deposit it in my bank anyways :p

I don't like to pay with 20s, but I don't hesitate to if an atm that dispenses large bills isn't handy. It's all money.

It's become an entertainment of mine-taking note of pay phones and phone booths. When I find one, I call my husband on it. The other day, I found a row of three phone booths at Stonestown Mall in San Francisco.

I can understand that. When I am in older hotels/motels when I go skiing and see a phone booth I want to use it. Probably from being an old school Superman fan.

I agree with @tassojunior . Small notes are cheap. I almost never use cash. Usually I carry one card and my phone. When I travel I have one more card at the hotel. Tips for restaurants, bars, porters go in the bill. For the "special occasions" I have some 100 euro notes.

So you use venmo, zelle, cash app, etc...with your guys if you run out of $100 notes?

Mobile payment is the preferred option specially with the guys I know. I ask my bank for a cash service once in a while to replenish my 100s. This is the only time I go to my branch. Also I do not go to ATMs anymore. Banking is done over the net.

With real regulars I find Facebook Messenger is the fastest most reliable free way. Its not very romantic though so I keep a stash of 100s handy.

If I ever get into an arkward situation where I have to give 20's I apologize profusely as I would if I had to give a check or coins. ($50s are ok).

I just thought about this but cant the charges be reversed or do they make sure to transfer it to their bank before the session begins?

I dont know. I'm careful paying with Venmo because I've heard it's tricky getting the money back if you pay the wrong person. It's better if they send you a request for payment.

PayPal is king for boys who do business internationally. Cash App and Venmo debit cards are rendered useless abroad in the event we want to retrieve those funds or use that money. PayPal MasterCard, however, can be used internationally and money can be retrieved at any ATM. So if your provider isn’t just local, use PayPal.

Does paypall charge yall a service fee to get the payment? I have only ever used it when buying concert tickets.

There are no fees to send or receive money within the U.S. There is a small fee to send money internationally or in my case, to receive money from an account registered in Europe with mine being registered in the U.S., atop currency conversion, etc.

Ahhh so to get around that you would have to create an account and register it with a European bank to not get screwed over

That’s an option. The fee is like 0.30 cents to 1.00 which i don’t make a stink about, and clients don’t make a fuss as it prompts them to choose whether they want to pay me in USD or EUR, and they usually make the minor adjustment so I’m compensated accordingly.
