The fee for each transaction is $0.30 USD, plus 2.9% of the amount you receive from U.S.-based clients. For funds being received from someone outside the U.S., the fee for each transaction is 4.4% plus a fixed fee that varies depending on the country where the funds are coming from.

That’s 32.9% versus 4.4%.

Even if you copied and pasted the info, you need to find out why USD conversion is costing you 8 times more.

Sadly, there is no other universal payment option. Cash is king when I’m local, but at the rate that I travel it’s a sacrifice I have to make as conversion fees at airports (i.e. Travelex) and banks are much higher, nor do I wish to raise any suspicions bouncing from country to country and converting large sums of money.

What I would consider insulting is an escort being incredibly rude -who goes beyond the pale-gets rightfully called on the behavior, and then blatantly lies about the whys and wherefores if such a thing ever happened, of course. And thankfully if it did, it doesn't happen often.

it happened recently with your new Dallas friends! LOL

Anyone who gets insulted by a wad of 20’s......is a moron.

Exactly, he can either deposit them at the ATM or change them at the bank for 100 bills.

I had someone I had seen a few times reply to a text about meeting with “you are a hole to me” (sic) text. ?. That was the whole message - not editing anything. Full disclosure, his immediately prior text was ”I’m surprised you want to meet again - I though I was too big for you”. (I had never said that to him, he is big, but in a good way ? and I was happy with his size ?).

I am now a hole in his budget, but still sad. It’s even hard to share here and it has been over a month. I’m surprised at how disappointed I am.

sharing is cathartic (or so I’m telling myself)

That is surprising, disappointing, and rude. I'm not trying to defend him because I know I have done that a million times sending a text to the wrong person when I'm having another conversation at the same time. Hopefully that was the cause but I am assuming it may not be.

Assuming I’m ready to see clients at the drop of a hat because I do nothing all day but keep my thumb up my ass staring at the wall. Great way to annoy the living hell out of me and repeated instances earn your place on the client blacklist.

I've asked about "drop of the hat" (not to you, Kurtis) before but hope I don't come across as "assuming you're ready". I remember contacting one guy late one night because someone else had flaked on me; I was very apologetic about asking if he was available last minute, but he was accommodating. :-)

I’ve asked about same day appointments. Always do so respectfully and don’t assume the gentleman is available just because I’m asking. I never thought it would insult a provider; I just expected them to say sorry not available with this amount of notice or something like that...

ditto. I ask (and hope), but I am always understanding if they’re not available.

That said, I have been pleasantly surprised at how often I get lucky ?.

The waters definitely get harder to navigate when the guy states call me day of to make an appointment.

  • 2 weeks later...

With my limited experience with providers I always pay with $100 bills. One weekend amounted to $3000.00 all in bills. Should I include some lower denominations? QUOTE="poolboy48220, post: 1818921, member: 9081"]it's been years since I've actually been inside a bank, so when I get cash it's at the ATM which is at most 20's. I can't remember the last time I handled a 50 or 100 dollar bill.
