I'm currently in NYC and I have a few guys on my interest list I'm looking to book. While I'm staying in a house all to myself, it is deep in one of the outer boroughs. Plus, I've noticed I have nosey neighbors, especially with the houses being so close. Add in the fact that most of the top escorts don't like travelling outside of Manhattan I figured just to book a hotel room for 1 full day.

Anyone with regular experience with hotels in Manhattan that can offer some suggestions? was thinking either Midtown/HK, Chelsea or LES/East/West Village. Just something affordable for one full day/night. Not looking for a 5-star but not looking for a hole in the wall either. Also, somewhere that guests can just enter and head to my room. No checking in with concierge, check-in, key card elevator access.

Thanks!

It looks like the Doubletree Times Square West has rooms next week for on $173/night at the AAA rate. This must not be a popular time to visit the Big Apple.

Using Priceline.com is my preferred method. Some of the deals and prices are account specific and different from one person to the next. Their express deals pick the hotel for you based off the area and star rating you select. I just looked at my profile and there is a 4 star deal available in Times Square area for 102/night and a 4 star in Midtown for 116/night.

I really like the Refinery Hotel for Midtown (6th and 38th) and Hotel 50 Bowery for LES/Chinatown (Bowery and Canal). Upscale boutiques but August pricing might be right. Key card required for elevator access and you have to walk past the front desk (but not stop or check in or anything like that). Key card access might be a dealbreaker for you. I used to think about that, too. But now I’ve done it many times and no one pays any attention when my smokin’ hot guy comes calling and I meet him in the lobby. ? Both also have rooftop bars, so not everyone walking through the lobby is a guest - which may reduce the annoyance or concern factor.

I like the Marriott Marquis and the Hyatt Centric both near Times Square. No keycard needed and nice bigger rooms. Between $250 - $350 depending on how far in advance you book. I know it’s pricier but I like a nice room. You can also try the hotel tonight app. I heard good things about the deals you can get on that but have never used it

Depending on the amount of ‘entertainment’ you’ll be arranging for that “1 full day”, I’d suggest a large hotel in Midtown where you might book direct.

That way, you may be able to arrange in advance for a late checkout and possibly an early check in. (That just reflects my preference for some good cardio before dinner, and for more action in the morning). FWIW I’d suggest you locate the Housekeeper as soon as you get in and tip her well for all the extra towels etc you will probably need.

Tho I haven’t stayed in either, the Hilton on 6th Ave/53rd St and the Sheraton on 7th Ave/52nd St seem to be busy, bustling hotels where your guests coming-and-going would be unremarkable.

Crowne Plaza Times Square can be a bit of a zoo but *nobody* clocks comings and goings. HK adjacent, too. Connected with a gent there recently. Seemed almost purpose-built for the hobby. Many of the mid-tier hotels have locations along 40thSt near 9thAve, many of which have little outdoor seating areas (for smokers) -- which are also good spots to connect with a gent before heading upstairs (all these sorts of hotels seem to have keycard controls on the elevators). The HotelTonight app can be handy for a quick/easy price-check on the going discounts at different hotels. Prices look sensible for the coming week or so.

Ok, so gratuitous comments here. I have stayed in hotels in the Times Square / Penn Station area on recent trips to NYC. I use IHG and Hilton hotels if I can because I am in their loyalty programs. Most of the nights were $100-$150, although the weekend of the NY marathon prices were out of control. The Hilton Embassy Suites (on 37th (?)) includes a cooked breakfast if that's important to you, and your guest could have breakfast with no questions asked.

I always thought the summer was popular for NYC. Guess a short down time period before NY Fashion Week in a few weeks?

Definitely looking to take advantage of the day I have the room. May try other "scenarios" before or after my scheduled session.

Dayuse is great!

Loving it. Thanks again @BaronArtz for the site.

  • 2 weeks later...

I’ve booked the Holiday Inn Express at 232 West 29th Street a few times via the Dayuse App. From 10am to 5pm the cost, including taxes was about $117. No card needed for the elevator. Just text your room number to your guest after you check in and he can come directly to your room. The room was more than adequate.

Whenever I pay for a hotel I always use HotelsTonight in a strange town.

A lot of the best guys will be from Hells Kitchen so you may as well be close. I stay at the Intercontinental- usually free on points. But even the Skyline is right in the middle of Hell's Kitchen and cheap.

Yeah picking something right in the heart of HK. The security, check-in thing is very important especially for the “extra curricular activities” that could happen late night well into the next morning.

9th and 46th would be perfect. The RIU Plaza Times Square comes to mind.

Also planning a quick trip to Richmond, VA in Sept for a few days. Wanted something steps away from VCU but the Graduate Richmond Hotel, past 11pm security asks for your name and full name of the person you’re visiting.
