Looking for lots of interaction on the private rooms and guys willing to come back to the hotel (That would seem to leave out Swinging Richard’s in Atlanta from what I’ve read here, but I’ll entertain all opinions.)

I’ve been to only the four current clubs in South Florida (Twist, Johnson’s, Boardwalk and LeBoy) andthe now closed Johnny’s so in listing your top 3 I’d appreciate comparisons to any of those.

New York? Montreal? Chicago? Elsewhere? I’ll be planning some travel based on your input. Thanks!

Wow! Vegas, you must have had a much better time in PV than I did. Yes, there are beautiful boys there and they'll come back to your hotel, but only for a small fortune. I was quoted a price (by a guy I'd been very generous with in the club) of $5,000. I would rank Johnson's as the best strip club in North America now, with Stock and bj's in Atlanta rounding out my top three.

1 a,b,and c- the Montreal triad of Stock, Campus, and Taboo (I'm a little trashy, so Taboo is always my first stop!)

2- Boxers n'Briefs in Centreville IL (St Louis 'burbs) a $10 Bud Light goes down a lot nicer with a naked boy butt on the bar in front of you

3- Stag and Silverado in Portland, OR - but I'm a little spoiled, both a twelve-minute drive from my front door

More into college type guys so my list is skewed that way....

#1: Taboo in Montreal

#2: LeBoy in Fort Lauderdale

#3: Johnsons In Fort Lauderdale

BJ Rooster's in Atlanta is a close runner up. Johnsons has so many things I like about it over LeBoy... but I'm just not as much into the beefy guys.

A fun twist to this poll would be, what 3 clubs do you wish were still around? :) For me it'd be...

#1: Johnnys / Ft Lauderdale - LeBoy doesn't have the same fun vibe Johnnys had. Johnny's was the wild west. Sean has lost it with LeBoy. He tried too hard to copy the bars that failed. Odd logic isn't it?

#2: Adonis / Montreal - Went through several name changes after it closed. But I was fortunate to go a few times before it went under.

#3: Lux / Montreal - it was always a wild card - some nights were a dud, but if you found a diamond in the rough, it was a fun night.

Since we're reminiscing --

1.) Splash Bar NYC - had some of the best looking bar tenders of all time and incredible stripper nights, albeit no nudity !

2.) Swinging Richards Aventura / Pompano -- RIP... both locations were SWINGING with HOT Dancers !

I usually offered 4,000...but that's Pesos not dollars. I had several repeat encounters and never paid more than 4,000 pesos (less than $200 USD) for 2 hrs

1. The Gaiety Theatre. The premiere male strip club in North America bar none. Sadly, it was forced to shut down when it was zoned out of existence during the transformation of the Times Square area from a gritty Runyanesque urban milieu into a Disneyfied and sanitized "family friendly" tourist district.

2. The Show Palace. Along with the Eros and Adonis, these 3 Eighth Avenue Times Square area theatres drew a diverse, but heavily urban crowd. All boasted male strippers, but the best action took place in the audience. Fats Domino may have found his thrill on Blueberry Hill, but Bozo found waaaay more than his share of thrills with fellow patrons in the audience. Many fond memories of the hundreds of afternoons and evenings of Bozo's misspent youth that took place in the back rows of these theaters. Only wish hand sanitizer was around back then .

All three closed down in similar fashion to the Gaiety.

3. Swinging Richards in Aventura Spacious, airy, well-lit, and boys of every size, shape and hue were available for your pleasure. Strobe lights flashing, and music just loud enough to provide a chill environment and great "club vibe". Parking was plentiful and prices were reasonable, especially for a strip bar in upscale Aventura.

Closed down due to community opposition.

4. Stock Bar. The best of the current male strip bars in North America. It's the gold standard against which all others are measured, and has been for a while. Centrally located in the heart of La Belle Ville's gay village, it's the largest of Montreal's strip clubs. Although we don't all share the same preferences in men, Stock Bar seems to have the most diverse ensemble of performers as far as size, shape, race, and number of tattoos :). The dancers are friendly, yet not overbearing. Drink prices are reasonable, and lap dances are private.

I don't understand why guys talk about clubs that are defunct. Move on already.

I can only speak about the ones I have been too and this is my list:

1. Swinging Richards, Atlanta, I have never been disappointed here and it's easy to get to for me.

2. Johnson's, Fort Lauderdale, I've only been once but i enjoyed every minute i was there. Will be back in January.

3. Campus, Montreal, I've only been here once too, but the guys were amazing One even took me back to the airport.

Since we're reminiscing... how about the recently shuttered Nob Hill in San Francisco? Happy memories with the hottest Falcon pornstars... so much fun. I also miss the SF department store Gumps which deserves a different thread entirely :(

Aah, a heavy sigh each time I pull out of the parking lot of Target on Biscayne Blvd and pass the site of the old Richard's in Aventura- that was an ideal layout for a gay strip club - one way mirrors in the VIP rooms, genius

If you want Richard's, just go north to Johnson's. Matt runs the place so it should be familiar.

Yup, been there each time I get to South Florida since they opened. It's tough tho, my boyfriend in Fort Lauderdale doesn't like me going to the clubs ( even tho we met while he was dancing at Boardwalk! ) We've agreed that one night only each visit is for barhopping, and the remainder of the visit is stripper-free.

Was wondering what happened to Matt. I remember when he started dancing at Richards at the original location on Northside Drive just off I-75. They moved to the current location in 1999 to what was previously the Diamond Club but was much larger and they switched locations due to the growth in popularity of the Male dancers pretty much the only one in the area, but there were multiple bars/clubs with Female dancers. I think the owner at the time owned a few clubs.

I can't remember when Matt became manager, then left and returned at least once or twice between ATL and MIA/FLL. I think he even managed another club in Atlanta between stints at Richards in Atlanta.

When did this Johnson's Club open in Ft Lauderdale?

Wow Dave. You've been around as long as I have. I remember Matt dancing at the original location of SR as well.

A year ago at least? I want to say 18 months. It is right on Wilton Drive.

Campus Theater was more fun than Nob Hill.
