I know this is an old tired topic, but is there anything new (stripper bar or just a gay bar) in Vegas anywhere near the strip? Taking a trip out there next week, and just had to give it another try. I baffles me to think this city is such a waste-land for gay establishments give Krave closed.

Krave, gone.

Piranha has go-gos, but there's also a huge straight female contingent there. No back rooms. Not that kind of scene.

The spot where Gypsy used to be is opening back up soon. I'm sure there will be go-gos. For a little eye candy, I'd also recommend hitting Charlie's on Wed night: Any guys in their underwear drink free. Shower show. Was there (sans pants) a couple of weeks ago and had a blast.

Has the new club opened up yet? Anyone been there yet?

Yes. Last Saturday night. Lots of energy and great show. Lots of fun. Nice upscale atmosphere. Highly recommend. Sexy dancers.

Still working on the facility and smoking patio looks like it will be done soon (non-smoker here so not an issue for me). No food truck yet for munchies but told they are working out details and hope to have it about time patio is finished.

Management still tweaking and learning. Seem to be on their way to making the place a legendary destination spot for gay travelers and Vegas convention goers.

as for the dancers... i dont think i have seen as many hot gogo guys in one location in my life! the quality of the muscle is superb. and they are truly all so nice. a friend was with me and he said "man they treat you like royalty here"! well.... i do help pay those boys rent payments by tipping! lol

gotta get there guys and see for yourself the quality of muscle there!

Ohhhh, that's too bad about Iconic closing. Several reasons could explain it, good or not-so-good. Many here on the forum know that a well-regarded retired provider was the manager/owner of the club (is that too discreet!!!!??).

It's odd how Vegas can't seem to establish a decent gay scene. I go to Vegas fairly frequently and I don't even bother seeking out gay club/bar activity anymore....and haven't for 6-7 years now. For me, it's about the food, gambling, and shows. I'm not going out looking for a gay bar only to find it closed down last week, or I go on a Wednesday and the bar is dead...and I learn the only good day is on Thursday, etc. Too much trouble.

Yeah, I’d say Vegas is the “least gay“ of all my vacation spots.

I go for sun, pool scenes, dinners, and spa time.

Most the times I’ve gone out looking for anything “gay”....I’ve regretted it.

Its a shame. If they had a fun gay club I’d book a table in an instant.

Evidently there aren’t enough like me to support a year round business though.

Gay life in Vegas has always felt several decades behind. Their local scene is slim.

It's not that some of their bars don't make money: They profit massively (Piranha, mostly) . The owners simply don't put money back into the spaces or feel the need to build new ones. They're all windowless, smoky, depressing buildings.

Tourists still show up and pay and locals don't demand anything more, so it continues to just slide by.

Iconic severely undercapitalized. They didn't find a crowd. They were in a bad location.

Sitting in the Vegas airport now and realized that the 'gayest' thing I did on this trip was go to Don't Tell Mama (piano bar, downtown). This isn't a city that I'd recommend coming to if you're wanting to really get into the scene. Vegas is hotels, spa, shows and malls.

I'm here to play at the tables, eat, see shows... and this trip... see holiday decorations.

Yet... Im still programmed to look around at the gay scene... the rentguy scene. If honest with myself, not really that interested... force of habit when traveling.

The rodeo is here this week. 100,000+ visitors. Not my scene.... but the steady stream of jeans and boots makes for some eye candy

Piranha website makes it look more like drag club than strip. Monday is underwear night... but I think thats about patrons, not performers.

And so im sitting in my Vegas strip hotel room... wondering why I look for the gay scene each time I come to LV... but know there's no there there.

These are all astute observations of LV.

It's basically the middlest of middle America: People who smirk at tits & ass, but you show them two men holding hands and the shit hits the fan. There are gay alcoves, but they remain in the shadows and the city seems fine keeping it that way.

@LaffingBear, the true underwear night is at Charlies on Wed. Strip down, drink for free. Shower show at midnight.

Was at Piranha. Rodeo in town. 1045 pm... place filled up with guys in briefs, boots and cowboy hats, by 1am... place was a party. I was glad I went.

IIRC Tim Adonis said he found Vegas to be kind of antigay in terms of city support of the businesses. It's quite possible that's why the existing ones don't try to expamd.

I miss the days of Share and it's 100 go-go escorts at Stripper Circus with private rooms upstairs and bizarre shows . Iconic tried to open there. Share had to close very early, about 9 or 10pm, because it had private rooms. Also Vegas cops do periodic online prostitution busts. They are really down on prostitution, in spite of the "Girls Delivered to You Door" ad signs.

But I always love to get to Piranha with it's "super-chill" attitude and thousands of friendly patrons until 7am. (open 24 hrs). Across from the Grove, LV's best pot shop helps too, especially with the "chill". The strippers, guys and girls, are really great looking and terrific dancers. I did manage to hookup with one guy a couple years ago who also stripped for women at the male stripper bar at Larry Flint's Hustler Club. He had me comped there and so I went (in a free limo) but that was a weird experience with all the women assuring me I was so welcome as a good friend of his. I didn't even know his last name, I just liked fucking him and all those screaming women got on my nerves.

Ok. Back in LV. Went to Charlies then Piranha tonight. Unlike my first and only other visut to Piranha, I looked around and saw half the club I missed first time.

I think Ive read guys saying theyve propositioned dancers at Piranha. I cant imagine how that's done.

When I patronized (now closed) SF Strip theaters, dancers were always offering. I was at Boardwalk, etc in FL, dancers work the audience so I can see how it could happen.

But at Piranha, dancers never leave their little stages. People go up and give bills... but, short of leaving a writren note, I cant imagine asking a dancer there about private shows or extracurricular activities.

There are private parties for muscle dickdancers at certain times of the year. That includes the Mr. Olympia when the muscle worshippers come out looking for prime beef.
