When I first began watching porn, it was straight porn. One of my college buddies loved porn, and would invite the guys over to watch porn occasionally. Noticed the guys as much, or sometimes more so than the women. Would go home and rub one out.

 

Years later, after getting a computer, discovered how much porn was on the internet. Have watched a few clips from Jake Cruise's website of the same name as this thread. Lots of the guys do gay porn too. Later found bi porn, and enjoyed that too. I remember liking Thomas Ride (one of the multiple names he's used). He's done a lot of gay porn also. It wasn't a big leap for me to start watching gay porn more often.

 

I guess you could say straight porn was my gateway to gay porn.

I forgot to mention Earl Slate. Before the advent of pornhub, and other porn websites, the only way for me as a teenager to access porn videos was with limewire. The first porn video scene I watched was with Earl Slate and Jasmine st Clair. I remember being so turned on, mainly because of Earl Slate.

Back in the day straight porn guys were not that attractive. I read an article saying that it was on purpose, that it was mostly men watching the porn and they didn't want to make them feel inadequate (for lack of a better word). I had a huge crush on Harry Reems, although in retrospect he may have been the reason for the term "porn-stache"

Opposite take. I used to share an apartment with 2 lesbian friends. (Well, to be more accurate, a lesbian friend and her girlfriend). They loved watching gay male porn. Now, my friend was bi - in fact I'm still good friends with her ex-husband...I believe the gf was more gay than not. But somehow they found man/man sex very erotic.

I remember once in college a guy on my floor rented some straight porn which we must have watched on a VCR connected to a TV. I remember liking the guys. I don't know if I 'actively' knew I was gay. Or I probably did as I had been attracted to men even as a child and never attracted to women. But I didn't want to think about being gay.

 

I don't watch a lot of porn. (The most lately I've seen are the clips on Rentmen ads). I've seen straight porn occasionally over the years, but it's nothing that I specifically seek out.

I like watching some straight guys (I probably would find out it is about the same percent as gay guys) however I hate having to mute the clip because after a certain while the woman's voice becomes grating and the guy says nearly nothing. It is like watching an old Armand Rizzo flick. And has been mentioned companies on the whole used to disregard the guy which made watching it rather nonsensical.
