Same as what @Jamie21 said. This situation is different. It's also overseas travel. 
As for clients cancelling an advanced arranged booking...that too can be disappointing as well, and I even get clients who will say, "I don't book in advance because I don't want to look like a flake if I end up having to cancel". 
That's all in good faith, but I still believe even a little planning is better than non. Again: I understand the typical stereotype of gay sex and prostitution, is last minute...on the spot sex. Even many porn videos portray sex as easy as picking up the phone, or giving a stranger a winky 😉 eye. And boom, awesome sex just happens that instant. And sometimes it does. I've had great sessions that were not made in advance. 
But, people gotta let go of the fantasy part when scheduling us. I don't buy the "Idk when I'll be horny" excuse. You know if someone you like pulls out a dick, you'll be horny and want it in you. 
Then again, I understand a good majority of my client base are bi-married men in their 50s and 60s with fluctuating libidos. Maybe they do have to feel some external or internal trigger to want to have sex with another guy, which may happen spur of moment. I wouldn't know how it is to be programmed like that. I can be horny on the spot or in advance, it doesn't matter. What does matter is, finding out which I can accommodate at the moment of contact. When I contact an escort to arrange a session with him, I will usually do so at least the day before I want to meet. Sometimes even a few days before or up to a whole week before.

Seldom do I contact an escort asking to meet him on the same day that i want to meet. Though I have done it in the past - but always with escorts who were on RentMen with 'Available Now' statuses. Sometimes when I message an escort he will send me a message saying, 'I'm available now'. So I assume that such ones must get a lot of clients who are very spur of the moment and just contact them just shortly before the time that they want to meet. 
 

Reading this guy's comments on here, it is clear to me that he views clients with absolute contempt. 
"Being allowed to engage with us in any form is a privilege" - oh, really? If that's his attitude, then he's definitely one provider to avoid like the plague.
I was astounded when he said that an escort taking full payment for an agreed amount of time (for an overnight session) and leaving early is acceptable. 
So many red flags with this guy in his attitude that comes through in his comments here on this post.
Less interested in providing a good quality service and making clients happy and treating them with respect and kindness (a two-way thing), and more concerned just about taking money, obviously. My first observation is you didn’t book me 😂😂😂.  But seriously if you’ve made your choice and your dates aren’t flexible then I think you should book him now. Tell him you’re visiting and want to be sure he’s available for your visit. He’ll understand that. I bet also that if you haven’t changed your number he will know that you booked previously. I keep notes of guys who’ve booked me before so that I know that they’re genuine and I know what they like etc. I bet he does same if he’s any good.
I get clients booking up to two months ahead and they’re almost always people visiting London from abroad or far away and they’re planning their trip. It’s better than them turning up in London and contacting me on the day they want only to find I’m away on holiday myself or already booked up.
It makes sense in your situation to book ahead and let your escort know why. If he’s a problem with that then he will tell you.
