It really does vary. Sometimes I will have three sessions in a single month or sometimes only one or even none.
Sometimes I'll have a consecutive run of several months where I hire (at least once a month) for every month. Then I might go through a period of a couple or so months where I don't hire at all. Or I might hire one month and then not for the next four or five.

Yes, it is very sad indeed. It might sound daft to some, but I often think about Andrew all these years later. I have hired many, many escorts over the years since I first started hiring in 2006, but he holds a special place in my heart because he was the first one I hired.
Apparently by the time he died, he had drastically cut down on the drug use (but obviously not stopped completely) and had a boyfriend with whom he had a stable and happy relationship.

There have been a couple of posts recently in which the subject matter prompted me to mention the fact that I hired my first escort when I was only 18-years-old, namely the 'Forum Census'  and  'At 81.. am I the oldest client on here?'. I thought I would make a post about it for anyone who might be interested. 
The first time meeting Andrew was at the tail end of 2006, in late December I think. The reason I'm almost certain about the date is that I remember picking up a copy of the London Evening Standard upon my arrival in London that night at St Pancras station, which had news on the front page that Saddam Hussein's execution had been scheduled (or maybe even taken place, I don't remember. Saddam was executed on the 30th, anyway).
At 19-years-old, Andrew was a year older than me. I'd found and viewed his escort profile on a website called 'Gaydar' (which still exists but is nowhere near as popular as it once was) and contacted him. His pictures were awesome. He was the most beautiful lad I had ever seen. I met Andrew in the shared flat he was staying in at the time just literally right around the corner from Barbican tube station. I won't go into the intricate details of what took place during our session, but it was fantastic. After that session I was so happy. I didn't at all feel like I had wasted money - despite the fact that at that age I didn't have a lot of it. I enjoyed my time with Andrew so much that I ended up meeting him a second time, for an overnight session, in early or mid-2007. He came to meet me at the hotel I was staying at just around the corner from Victoria station. I always remember that I had arranged the session from my new number and that I didn't tell him that I was the client. So when he knocked on my hotel room door and I opened it, he was pleasantly surprised to see that it was me - he remembered me of course from our first session in 2006.

That would be the last time I saw Andrew. About a year later I heard that on 11 May 2008, Andrew passed away from an overdose of the 'chemsex' drug GHB. Though I had only met him on two occasions, and that we had met on the understanding that our relationship was purely transactional, I was heartbroken. He had a profound effect on me. I must confess that his handsome looks and his down to earth personality were to blame for a bit of an infatuation with him. I was terribly upset at the news, and to this day whenever I think of Andrew's passing (at age 21), my heart feels a unique pain.
Andrew was my first hire. He taught me that gay male escorts provide a quality and professional service. He quashed any notions that I might have had that sex workers are not decent people, with his kindness. You do sometimes come across the odd one or two here and there who charge more than £200 but it isn't commonplace. 
The experience of a foreigner messaging from a non-UK number might be different, however, but then I wouldn't know, as I'm a domestic/"home" client.

He sent me the pic through private message, and I can confirm that it is indeed "Do" (which was short for his escorting alias "Domenico"). Thanks to some very limited info provided to me by @VirtualFriend, I now know that Domenico left England around 2010-11 and is no longer an escort. I can remember his Gaydar profile advertising him as "an Italian stud" or some such, although I have learnt through @VirtualFriend that he is in actual fact Brazilian but with Italian citizenship. I didn't know he was Brazilian at the time I hired him, but it does explain why I was so attracted to him! 
And as I thought I could remember, Domenico did indeed reside in Paddington.
