I suspect that the older porn stars (Gen X and older) were probably way more into sex than the millennials and Gen Z, who you often see with OF accounts and sky-high prices. I suspect many of those providers who have long-term clients are not charging all of them $500/hour. I suspect they may increase occasionally, but it's not unusual for in-demand professionals to use a higher rate for new clients as a form of screening. We have a few guys we see from time-to-time who have not increased what they charge us, but I suspect they are charging new clients more. Lastly, it's likely that the market will "correct." There's a lot of complaining on here about rates, so the middle-tier providers will likely drop back to $300-$350 an hour as the market cools. I can't speak to other cities but housing and food in NYC have skyrocketed. Those are costs that an escort has to pass on to clients.

My sense of discomfort is that some clients want that "top tier" of escorts but feel pinched to pay the price they're asking. I suspect many of us in the white-collar managerial class CAN afford $500/hour, but some feel it SHOULD be cheaper, and others don't. Providers are going to charge what the market will bear. We've had a lot of inflation, particularly in the big cities so costs are going up. That said, there are plenty of guys charging $250-$400/hour. I find if you go past the "Platinum" section on RM, the guys are more reasonable.

This is why anecdotal information isn't the same as data. Among my friend group, nearly every overweight person I know is married or in a long-term relationship, and all the single people I know are thin or in very good shape. And good looking and overweight are not mutually exclusive. Prejudice is also constantly judging people as "fat ugly and out of shape." I honestly don't care who you fuck as long as it's not me. People hire for a variety of wants, needs and desires. For some people, it is to achieve their "dream fuck." I don't think such a thing exists so that's not my goal.
