Who's the top of your list for guys in Dallas?

I took the plunge with Grant right before Snowmageddon in Dallas. Booking was straightforward, but he DID change the time (by an hour) after I booked. Not at the last minute, and he was polite about it, but when he texted about changing our time, I began to regret booking him. I told him once we agreed on a new time that I'm self employed and extremely busy and he could not make a habit of being flaky on our schedule. He said he would not be a flake.
 
I showed up at his apartment on time and the experience was nice. Not mind blowing awesome or "the best I've ever had", but not bad either. He gives a "good but not great" massage on a relatively inexpensive table and throws in some extras. He does use nice linens and his apartment is neat and clean. He's stunningly beautiful and I agree completely with previous comments about his voice. Charming. He is also polite and has this boyish shy quality that is appealing, although I don't know if it's genuine or part of the "aw shucks, aren't I cute?" image.

When I really need a good massage, I compare fees between private advertisers, and also compare it to a full visit to a local day spa for the same length massage.
 
If I have a gift card for a spa visit (friends know I love a good massage), that usually decides for me.
 
When I visit my favorite spa I really like using the sauna and steam (not so much the jacuzzi). It’s a given there will be no happy ending to the treatment, but I find the calming ambiance, amenities, and dependably skilled service to be worth more in this instance. So, masseurs have competition in other private masseurs AND in fully licensed businesses performing similar services, with different pluses as trade offs.
 
Most spas max out at 75m massage (a few do 90m, which is the length session I’ll book for a private, but that added 15m will include working the bits that the spa won’t.) With tips figured in, the total cost to me is pretty close!

1. I hired the guy mostly because of problems in my relationship. Short version of the story is that my boyfriend was a big slut and I really wanted a monogamous relationship. This you have to be careful with. The masseur might not pay any attention to (or have an issue with) your hands being at the edge of the table at the beginning of the massage, but he's likely to notice you moving them back out to the edge for no reason after he repositioned them (not always in a good way).
 
If the masseur repositions my hands, I only move them closer to the edge again after they objectively seem to be getting in the masseur's way (like if he keeps bumping into them as he massages the thighs).

Get as close to the edge as possible, palms facing up. If he doesn’t want them there, he may place them closer to your body. It’s still worth a try to move them back out (casually). —might give him the right hint.

I can't find the student discount thread but here's a similar one though not all students are hot... and the definition of hot is different for each of us.

I have seen such ads from time to time. They specify that upon the presentation of ID there is a discount for students/police officers/firefighters/military.
