I’ve tried roughly 50 different Rentmen over the past 7 ish years. Most experiences are just Ok…roughly 10% have been over the top amazing. Sounds like your guy was in the 90% pool. Quite often the second experience with a provider is infinitely better as you both know what to expect. It’s useful to try an interesting provider for an hour first to see if there’s a good fit.

I’ve noticed a greater tendency of providers giving non-actionable responses. It’s especially annoying when they don’t provide a price in the initial answer despite being asked.

People are complicated. Life is short. Learn from the experience and move on. The world has many more interesting assholes to discover- both good and bad. Grant yourself a guilt release.

You need to cultivate some interesting hobbies and have something in common other than sex. Whether it’s politics, painting, music, cars, tennis etc. Something to bond over initially.

As a client it’s happened to me with at least 6 providers, maybe more. In no case was a discount offered….and in no case did I initiated a follow up visit. -
