  1. Hotel employees are observant, but they've pretty much seen it all. They're mostly concerned with people that are possible safety or security problems, not providers coming to see a guest. The big inconvenience is if a hotel requires a card to use the elevators, which requires your guy meeting you in the lobby to take you up. A friend of mine worked a higher end hotel in Atlanta and he pretty much knew most of the Atlanta guys on sight because he'd see them coming in repeatedly over time. They were only concerned when security or police had to be involved. Go in quietly and directly, and they'll usually pay you no mind. Female providers could get away with hanging out in the bar area of convention/resort hotels picking up guests in the past, which would be harder for a male provider to do back then. I think that's less common now in the internet age.
  2. In no particular order: Kris Lord, Jeff Stryker, Brandon Lee
  3. Hmm, not a provider here, but I'd be a bit wierded out if a guy showed up at my door with sex toys unless we'd discussed it previously. A jockstap or sexy underwear isn't out of line though. Cologne is something best applied at home before showing up, though if it's an extended date with dinner or other public activities it might be good to cover the smell of sex on you if you can't shower. A towel isn't usually I'd think would be required, but if you're seeing a guy in a hotel room it might be nice to be prepared since sometimes the places are skimpy on the towels these days. I always appreciate it if a guy brings his preferred lube, condoms, and poppers if he uses them. How do you plan to carry your go-bag? A backpack usually doesn't stand out when going through a lobby.
  4. Time and place for everything. I'll sometimes run through my shopping list before heading to the store, it helps me recall what I need without having to have it written down. Running through my shopping list while I'm in bed with a hot guy would be...odd. ETA: I always keep my sinister plans for revenge in an encrypted file on a secure server. I never speak them aloud since google is always listening.
  5. Using racial slurs would skeeve me out. I can 'grok' the kink and why some guys might want it, but I couldn't engage in it myself. That's a hard pass for me. That said, I would find a guy talking dirty to me in a foreign language while we're together very hot. If a guy starts speaking portugues or italian or japanese, I'm turned on like Gomez when Morticia speaks french. I guess that's a kind of 'race play', too, but hopefully benign.
  6. From a client's side perspective, hiring when travelling for business, especially conferences, is problematic. It's difficult to plan in advance before arriving because you often don't know how much downtime you'll actually have. Meetings get moved around or run long, dinner plans change or get extended, work from the office becomes more urgent. In a perfect world, you'd know in advance you can get back to your room in time to freshen up and be ready for a evening appointment, but I've had trips where I'm uncertain how things will go until the day of. It's tempting to wait until I get back to the room and then see if there are any local guys who are available on short notice, but I have only actually done it a couple times myself. I can see a lot of guys looking on RM for 'Available Now' on their profile to do that, though. Personally, I have had a situation where I was visiting a client in a city where my brother lives, and we planned to meet up for dinner after I was done with the meeting. The client insisted on getting dinner after the meeting, which screwed up the plan to meet up with my brother. I messaged him and let him know what was happening, and we met up for a beer much later than planned instead, but yeah it was an inconvenience for him. I wouldn't have blamed him for saying it was a no-go, though. Now if a guy visits your city a few times, contacts you, but never seals the deal, sure it might be worth putting him on the ignore/block list. But a one time thing is a bit on the harsh side, IMO.
  7. Although the thought crossed my mind briefly, it would be a bit immature if the other provider took offence to me reaching out someone else. He lives in a resort city pretty far from me so I can only get out there occasionally. The usual attractions haven't recovered yet there, so even if I could travel there it'd be kind of a bore for me since the things that are open don't interest me that much. Even if he lived in my city, I'm entitled to see other providers; variety of experiences is one of the 'perks' of this sort of thing. In general, if there isn't some actual ongoing arrangement, does any provider have a right to be upset about a client contacting someone else? If they're jealous, it's crossing a line into relationship territory. Yes, we're human and emotions and sex are naturally involved, but we always advise guys here to keep it business first and avoid emotional entanglements. If it's just because the client is spending his money or time on other guys, then he has an unreasonable expection that those resources belong to him. But if a client flakes on you, that's definitely a valid reason to consider not engaging him.
  8. I have only posted postive reviews so far. I would only think about posting a negative review if an encounter went sideways badly (the usual things like theft, shakedowns, threatening behavior, etc), but I've been reasonably lucky in avoiding those sorts of problems. If we just didn't have that good of a session I'd just chalk it up to bad chemistry and move along.
  9. I appreciate your take on it. As far as I know, all he asked the other provider remembered me and if we got along ok, nothing about what we did or what I might be into. That's good in this case because the two guys are totally different kinds of hires for me. The review I posted on RM is public, so discretion is kind of moot in this case. I would probably feel different if he asked for more details about my meeting with the first provider, however. It does have me thinking about the potential downsides of posting reviews on RM, though.
  10. It's an interesting idea, though I think it's probably not as good in smaller market cities like mine. There's only about 4 listings total. Some of the mainline hotel chains started more day use options during the pandemic, though I think that's starting to wind down as the hotels fill up again. Hilton has been running a dayuse option site targeted for people wanting a temp office option, the site lets you pick a date without a checkout date. https://www.workspacesbyhilton.com/ Hyatt implemented theirs with an offer code "OFFICE". I'm not sure how they manage checkin times on that basis though. IHG and Marriot seem to have only had limited offers.
  11. To answer the OP's question, a provider is entitled to raise their rates if they deem fit and they don't have to offer any justification for it. You're making it sound like he owes you a look at his P&L sheets or a detailed breakdown of his expenses to justify his new rates. He could be increasing to keep pace with rising expenses, manage the number of clients he has to see to keep his earnings up, target a higher end market segment, etc. Its his business to run and he is free to disclose only as much as he wants to. That said, if I had been seeing a provider for a while and he suddenly increases his rates well above market with no consideration for being a long term client, I'm taking it as a sign that he doesn't really care to continue seeing me. I'd simply tell him that it's a shame, but I can't afford his new rate and wish him well.
  12. Happy belated birthday, or perhaps more appropriately Feliz CUMpleaños!
  13. I recently reached out to a travelling provider on RM. The next day another provider I had reviewed a couple years ago pinged me and let me know that he'd been contacted by the provider asking about me and our meeting. We've chatted from time to time with him checking if I was going back to his city, so we've been on friendly terms and he gave me a good reference. How common is it for providers here to use a client's reviews to check them out with other providers? If you do it, has it helped you avoid potentially bad clients?
  14. He looks nice. Checked him out but it looks like he's on a hiatus again since his account is frozen. 🙁 Hope he'll be back around soon.
  15. Rum and Coke triggered me. I gave my blowjobs in the back hall of the Heretic like a civilized slut.
  16. Normally 8+is what I'd consider hung, but girth is a big factor, too. I have a friend who isn't that long, probably a solid 7 but he's super wide. He's not subtle when he goes in, either, so you definitely better be ready or you'll feel he's splitting you in half.
  17. The track record of old sitcoms that have translated well to movies is pretty spotty. I'd be apprehensive of this project until I saw something about the casting. Honestly I can't even imagine who would be ideal for the roles. The Addams family movie worked mostly because the casting was so good for most of the characters, especially Julia (RIP), Huston, and Ricci. The "immigrant fish-out-of-water" tropes the original series played against will also resonate completely differently now, so hopefully Rob Zombie will try to get a script that does it well instead of resorting to simple fanservice. We'll see.
  18. I'm all for 'direct' communication, but if I reached out to a provider and I just got a 3 digit answer I'd move on. A guy can always say something like, "I not free to chat now, but my rates are ____. I can set something up as soon as your ready, let me know if you need anything else."
  19. Hard to say. Onlyfans recently changed their policy to require all performers to have an performer account, so they can do proper documentation to avoid legal problems. That means that any anyone doing more than solo vids needs to have a pool of potential collaborators in their area also on onlyfans. They have to keep posting regularly to keep people subscribed, so a smaller pool makes it harder to keep creating fresh content.
  20. I tried searching my local prices on gasbuddy, but it seems their server has blown a gasket.
  21. I don't get the condescenion towards people who are cautious about investing in or using cryptocurrencies. It's still highly speculative and niche tertiary coins like the one mentioned in the OP with limited audiences can be easily manipulated. There's also real world economic distortions being at least partially driven by crypto mining activities, such as the current semiconductor shortage and the amount of electricity used by mining, that may lead to significant pushback by the governments of several nations in the coming years. There's nothing wrong with putting money in speculative trading like crypto, but telling people that there's no risk of a bubble bursting causing them to lose their money is irresponsible at best.
  22. It's an interesting idea, I'm sure some providers have looked into it. One benefit for providers is that crypto transactions can't be easily reversed like a credit card payment. I'm guessing the bigger challenge would be dealing with the proliferation of different crypto currencies and volatile exchange rates. If you agree on a rate in USD for a session in advance, do you confirm the exchange rate the day of session?
  23. Why would I be bothered by the lack of alphabetization of a list of restuarants I won't be able to dine in?
  24. Maybe the reviewer gave him a point for looking like his pictures? ?‍♂️
  25. I like a guy with some girth, but that looks like more than I could take.
