I agree with that point. I would expect those service providers to add an out-of-area surcharge if the have to go outside of their normal service territory, however. Either way, for escorts or massage, I've always understood the outcall rate to cover normal time and transportation costs, with longer distance travel requiring some negotiation. If they're asking for you to pay for an Uber, they're separating that cost out from the outcall rate and the cost is too variable for the same length trip.

Considering the OP stated this has happened "consistently", it would appear he's had this happen with more than one provider. If it were a one-off event I'd guess it was the provider's issue, but if it's happened multiple times it would appear to be something in the OP's manner of communication. The OP's other posts indicate a pattern of difficulties communicating with providers, so I'd have to question if his overall approach is not clearly showing his interest or making him seem difficult to work with, or indecisive, or something more.

If it's clear he's checked out part way into the session, I think I'd simply say things don't appear to be working out between us and say we can cut it short and offer half the fee. There is a possiblity that could get confrontational, unfortunately, so it depends how he appears to be reacting how I'd proceed if he demanded the full amount. Your ability to extract yourself from the situation safely is most important.

Offering a discount for multiple hours makes sense for many providers. They have a certain amount of time needed to get ready and clean up after any appointment along with travel if it's an outcall, and the overhead is about the same whether it's 1 hour or 3 hours. They can earn effectively more per hour for one longer booking than multiple single hour bookings if the rate is structured right.

That is strange, I have declined booking a repeat when a provider returned to my area several times without them refusing future bookings. I'm looking for manufacturer recommendations. I'm looking for models that are long enough to support a dual 27" monitor setup with a laptop stand and provides some cable management.
