I would never pay to reactivate a provider's expired ad. I assume they are putting their time into other priorities if they aren't keeping their ad current. You've answered your own question. Gay zillionaires can buy access to models, minor celebrities, and other providers, and there are middlemen/fixers who discreetly make those arrangements on a bespoke basis. For everyone else RM has carved out a niche that is very hard to duplicate, it's very costly to create a premium website from scratch especially for a legally dubious market.
