You have every right to your opinions.  It's how you express them that comes across as arrogant and flippant.  You could just as easily explain yourself in a rational, mature manner without the insults.  But you don't.  You resort to smugness and chest-thumping.

I'm still trying to find the negative and judgmental comments.  We're in the Deli section of this forum which is to discuss providers.  This provider voluntarily placed an ad.  Other than the OP who provided his donation requirement, I don't see where anyone else contacted him.  I've read countless threads on this forum discussing the issues hiring a straight-identifying provider, one who doesn't have any info about himself, or lists his "Into" activities.  Further, another poster read the commentary to his reviews and one client wrote:
I'm all for being respectful, but if you voluntarily place an ad to attract clients which sends up red flags, have a price-point that says you're not serious about seeing clients, and have an actual client review accusing him of being a "hustler type of guy," be prepared for commentary. 

Shortly after I turned sixteen I got a job as a utility at a K-mart Supercenter. I got it the week before Thanksgiving with the idea that I would work there for some time. Wrong. I made it through New Year's and quit. It was absolutely the most miserable job experience of my life with the most miserable people I have ever worked with. No wonder the company failed. You might say that I didn't have perspective at that age, but I have had employment of some sort since I was 12 years old without interruption, often multiple part/time jobs at once while maintaining 4.0 grades in school. So work, and hard work was not something that scared me. I left Kmart literally to dig ditches for my best friend's brother's cable company, and was much happier. To be fair, digging ditches and trenches to bury cable taught me I wanted to do something different long-term, but it was a far cry better than being a utility at a Kmart during the holidays. Mind you, it wasn't the customers who were intolerable, it was the apathetic and horrible attitudes of the management and fellow employees that made the lasting negative impression on me. Never have I dreaded going to work like I did there - before or since.

A business cannot absorb rising costs without passing it onto the consumer.  Income has to exceed expenses; pretty basic economics here and we all know that most things are more expensive this year.

No one is suggesting not paying for travel expenses when the provider is traveling from out of town.  I hired someone last year who I flew across the country for a long weekend.  I purchased his airline ticket, which he readily accepted as evidence of my commitment to the appointment.  I have a regular provider who takes the bus from New York for weekends with me.  I similarly pay for his transportation.  
What I'm not going to do is electronically send cash to an unknown provider and hope he shows up.  You're right, providers are free to do what makes sense for them.  If requiring a deposit works for them, more power to them.  I'm also free to decline their terms and not be thought of as a flake or time waster.  I also have the right to do what works for me.       

When I was 11-years old, we got a pup from a family friend whose Irish Setter had a litter with a Yellow Lab.  We took her at 6-weeks old and couldn't agree on a name.  About a week later we were watching an old Untouchables episode with Elizabeth Montgomery as a nightclub owner named Rusty Heller.  As soon as they said the name, we all looked at each other, then over at the pup, then back at each other again.  She was my best friend for 12 years.  Smartest dog I've ever met.  Friendly to everyone but so protective of my family and especially me.  She was also a "rust" color and most people thought that's why she had the name.    
Years ago, I had a friend who named his pup D'Oggi.  It was pronounced Dee-oh-jee.  It took some people a while to realize his name spelled the word D-O-G.

In 1990 five male friends and I vacationed in Waikiki for eight days. There were two couples, another single guy and me. Each couple had their own rooms while the other single guy and I shared a room. We did most activities together, but on the last night each couple wanted a private romantic evening. My single roomie and I grabbed some food and hit the bars (Hamburger Mary’s and Hula’s) one last time. We lost track of each other, but agreed that if we did, we’d just make our way back to the hotel separately.
 
On my way back to the hotel I encountered what could best be described as the poster boy for hot surfers while walking along Kalakaua Avenue. Shaggy blond hair, blue eyes, wearing thin nylon shorts (obviously without underwear) and a tank top. We started talking, told me he was from the North Shore and missed his bus. It was obvious we were eyeing each other up, so I asked if he wanted to return to my hotel with me.
 
As soon as we got on the elevator, we were all over each other, making out, groping (commando status confirmed), and grinding up against each other. Once in the room the clothes came off within seconds, we fell on the bed and started going at it. Without getting too graphic, we both were satisfied and spent after an hour of fun.
 
The dilemma was now that my surfer missed the last bus and was stuck on this side of the island until morning, so I had a cuddle buddy for the night. The Linc is incredible.  I like how they incorporated green energy with the wind turbines and solar panels.  
I think JFK's capacity got close to 100,000 when they included the field for concerts to accommodate the crowd.  I remember them estimating the crowd size close to that for Live Aid and the Grateful Dead.
