If I may offer you some gratuitous advice:
1. You say you’re away at a conference in Chicago. Don’t say anything to him yet. Cut short your attendance and fly home unexpectedly to throw him out of your house. If there are uninvited guests in your home, call the police.
2. Make sure you are present while he is packing and clearing out. Ensure any valuables, especially small and portable ones, do not end up in his cases.
3. If he knows where you keep your important possessions or the combination to any safe in the house, check your possessions first and change the combination immediately.
4. Get a locksmith immediately afterwards to change all your locks and change the security alarm codes.
5. Yes, get tested just in case. That way, you will be sure you’re healthy.
6. Consider ‘getting back in the saddle’ soon...perhaps with a paid companion.
 
FWIW I don’t think he’s “a sociopath”. You were kind and generous, and he simply took advantage of you. You’re not wrong to be open and loving; you just need to find a guy that deserves you.

I never said anything about a confrontation. To be honest with you the hotels only care about folks not being loud at night or mean to other guests and paying their bills.
 
you're right, be more concerned with facial recognition technology and not by the guy at the front desk.

But since it is so variable, that's why (pre)-knowledge is so helpful. If I know a guy charged Joe Who Wants To Be Blown $300, and he states a charge of $375 for me, I might not want to hire him-or I may ask him about the other guys' $300 fee. If he made a good case, I might even go for the $375-but probably not.

I've never gotten close to paying 500 for 3 days of someone in Honolulu or 200 for an overnight anywhere. But I can tell you there are still penniless straight guys who will unzip or more for 100. Harder to find these days, but still available.

However, being familiar with Latin Culture, “bargaining” is not as looked down upon than it is here in the states. Different cultural norms shouldn’t be classed as “haggling”.

Several members threw full pies; some threw slices here and there; some just threw a bit of shade. Forum administrators report no serious injuries. In the end, the question of who was in the right was never resolved. The only thing we know is that a childish, smart ass escort was so offended that he tricked a client into preparing for a commitment he did not intend to honor, triggering what could have been a blood bath.

It's a case by case basis. It definitely works for this gent. But I occasionally see young, petite guys who look silly with a moustache. And every once and a while the older guy with that 70s Castro clone look-yuck!
