In Vegas. Guy exactly my type using name essscort says hello on Grindr. I was interested. Agreeable details.

Then he wanted $100 down payment by ApplePay. Had a whole script. 2 paragraphs. Pre-disclaimer... if no prepay, move on.

Of course I didn't prepay. I did ask some other questions, acknowledged risk of scams for rentguys as well as clients, etc. Suggested the forum.

Then he got hostile, told me to stop wasting time.

I dont regret it. Maybe he's legit. Maybe has a profitable little business racking up $100 deposits from suckers... who knows.

Read others' posts about prepay to arrange travel.... this was my first time being asked for a deposit. A little surprised for a local. So just sharing the experience.

So, no sooner did I move on from one scam.... when i see a very familiar face on Grindr. Someone I wanted to hire from RM in past.... cant remember his screen name

Today... he's Prince Cohen. Wants $5 to make a reservation. All kinds of guarantees, longer session, needs credit card to prove Im of legal age, etc. After you pay... you see the schedule to choose your time. Drops a pin telling me hes in a Strip hotel. Linked through either Instagram or Twitter... to rentmasseur.com

Id waste $5. Its Vegas... Im wasting money all day long.

But Im not signing in with my legal name.

Then it occurs to me... Im not giving him my credit card info.

Already decided against, when I think "Ill bet after I pay the $5... the schedule shows him unavailable for several days" What a great scam that would be for Vegas, typically frequented by short term visitors.

A little while later ... that profile is gone... along with my messages. (Or I'd copy-paste them here)

Today is my day for scams

Well if he is on grinder I would assume he is local and close by so... absolutely not definitely a scam

Do not assume he is local. Scammers have the ability to show up as a local and even have their location show a legitimate location on the map but they are not the person in the pic. Porn stars are frequently used for this scam. Austin Wolf and Billy Santoro pics show up daily in Grindr and its Not them, nor do they endorse it. The other scam is to ask you to show up to a hotel but buy them a steam card which is some payment card for gaming. They have you give them the numbers to the card and then gone.

Either way it’s a scam ?
