  1. I would just say that you're not available right now and you'll get back to him when you're able to meet with him again.
  2. Remember that on average, the cost to own/operate your own car in the US is more than $10,500 a year according to AAA. In most of Europe, car ownership is definitely not necessary. Personally, I'd gladly save the money I put into my car this year (nearly $7K for a new transmission) if my job allowed me to ditch the car.
  3. Denver got to -24 on early Friday morning. Second coldest temp ever recorded in the city. Unfortunately, I think its possible that might've done in my beautiful wisteria. Hopefully it'll just die back to the roots like it did last time we had a cold snap.
  4. Wow! Sounds like an amazing trip. Brings back memories of my trip back in May. Paris truly is a special city. So glad you got to see experience it.
  5. Yeah I've had some providers try to do some findom stuff on me and it's a big turnoff. I just don't get it. I'm also a bit skeptical that there's a lot of clients who are into FinDom. I don't know, maybe there are but I feel like this often comes more from the provider than the client.
  6. I will just say as a client, I sometimes contact a few providers when I am visiting a new city. This is because I've actually gotten flaked on by providers so often that I like to have a couple of backups. I sort of realize it sucks for the other couple of guys if the first guy ends up working out. If I can afford it, I will sometimes still try to set up a second session with another guy. Once on a trip to LA, I got flaked on by all three guys I initially contacted and ended up reaching out to a forth guy while I was there and that's who I ended up meeting with. I do explain to the other guys that I ended up meeting with another provider so at least they are not expecting me any longer.
  7. I would actually prefer a bit more specifics in how the provider is educated. Like exactly that: "Currently in graduate school for mathematics" or "have a master's degree in journalism." Then you can actually get more of sense of common interests and relatability. "Educated" means nothing.
  8. And AirBnB has the right to prohibit video recording if you're using their web site to advertise your space. And AirBnb does prohibit undisclosed ones generally and: Airbnb prohibits security cameras or recording devices that are in or that observe private spaces like bedrooms, bathrooms, or sleeping areas So you may have the right in your private home but that doesn't mean you can host with AirBnb
  9. And the creepy peeping tom AirBnB host doesn't want their illegal "hobby" exposed either. So it doesn't even get to the courts, it just gets taken down.
  10. But if the worry is that your privacy is going to be violated by an AirBnB host: A) Probably they aren't videotaping you. B) If they were, what are they going to possibly do with the footage? If they try to like get you in trouble for prostitution or whatever, then they are also very likely committing an illegal act. If they are going to post it online, you would have a very easy lawsuit that your privacy has been violated. If they are just going to privately jack off to it, then you would neither know about it nor care.
  11. It's against AirBNB rules to have hidden cameras in the apartment and all recording devices must be properly documented to guests before arriving. In many states, it's also illegal to record someone where they would have a reasonable expectation of privacy. Certainly many apartments probably have Ring cameras and other outside surveillance and definitely the owner of an apartment could probably record you entering or exiting the apartment. But filming inside the apartment would very likely violate AirBnB rules and may be illegal. Hotels almost certainly record whoever enters and exits their building as well. I'm not really sure that I buy that one is inherently more risky privacy-wise than the other.
  12. I love the art-nouveau metro entrances. Truly one of the most beautiful and distinct metros in the world.
  13. I was in Paris this spring and they have some beautiful Metro stations. I think my favorite was Arts et Metiers, which is clad in copper and designed to look like the Nautilus from 10,000 Leagues Under the Sea. Beautiful!
  14. I would definitely not assume the guys are into each other or like each other at all. Unfortunately, I know from previous experience that some escorts really do have drama with each other. So definitely vet the escorts with each other beforehand.
  15. Unfortunately, he flaked on me twice. Tried a third time and then didn't respond. Seems like a nice guy but I couldn't make it work even with days notice and specific times.
  16. You're getting a bit too much into politics IMO. And this isn't actually that accurate. Econ 101 tells us basically that in a healthy economy, there is usually inflation of about 2-3 percent per year. But it's almost always the case that prices of some things go up and some things go down. For example, new technology products become cheaper after several years. The price of Smart TVs 5-6 years ago was often $5000+ but now you can find many under $1000. And the prices of many things can be very variable based on supply and demand Food, gasoline, travel, etc. Even within the course of a year, prices can vary quite a lot. But we're talking about escorts here, and escorts are a service industry. Since wages/costs are one of the big components of inflation, of course service industries tend to be more sensitive to inflation. I've noticed this in other service industries as well. A few years ago I could find a decent haircut under $30 but that's pretty much impossible now. Because of the general increase in inflation and wages, I think the $300 an hour is here to stay unless something goes pretty crazy with the economy.
  17. I sometimes enjoy a fresh face, so I will specifically go after new guys with new profiles. There's a search function on RM that lets you do that. Some of those "new" guys are clearly vets just restarting their profile. But many of them are actually new to escorting with new profiles. I think I kind of enjoy being one of the first to review sometime even one of the first clients of a new escort. Maybe it's my former teacher background, but I kind of enjoy giving them a few pointers with their presentation (if they ask for it). In general, I think I feel I am a pretty good client in most ways. So I think it helps to be with a client early on that's not a time waster or a druggy weirdo. You'd be surprised how many guys I've met who stop escorting after a few months (or only accept existing clients) because of the barrage of terrible inquiries and clients. Sometimes, the experience doesn't work out well. But often it does and I've made many of these newbies into regulars.
  18. I checked Mr. Number once and didn't have any comments. Phew.
  19. What you describe is similar to gay bars in Denver even just a few weeks ago. I guess I am curious if you've noticed anything has changed since the Club Q shooting.
  20. Ah yeah...that's much worse. Looks like he deleted his profile so maybe he got called on his bullshit.
  21. First off...this is not a political discussion on the Club Q shooting. Rather, I am curious if LGBTQ establishments outside of Colorado are experiencing increased security in light of the Club Q shooting. In Denver, many gay bars/clubs have implemented new security measures. At one popular gay nightclub, they've implemented almost stadium-style security including metal detectors, pat downs and prohibiting any bag or large items. Almost all have extra security personnel at both the door and roaming the floor. Just curious if this is something you're seeing at LGBTQ establishments around the country or is this something more localized to Colorado?
  22. If I were an escort, I would probably not go to Dubai. There have been numerous instances of escorts of both genders being arrested.
  23. In general, I'm pretty skeptical of any profile with "Cash" in the name or descriptions of "FinDom" or anything similar. Not kink shaming....if FinDom is your thing, that's great. But in my opinion, a lot of these "FinDom" guys are really just trying to extract maximum cash for minimum work. And it's been rarely worth it trying to get a more typical escort experience from them.
  24. Andor is very, very good. You really feel how it would be to live under an oppressive government like the Empire. And such a great cast. I've always had a crush on Diego Luna and he has a great shirtless shower scene about halfway through. But I also love how you really see the conflicts in his thinking reflected in his eyes. And also Andy Serkis, Genevieve O'Reilly, Stellan Skarsgaard....so many great performances. Definitely looking forward to the finale.
  25. Did anybody catch this interesting and somewhat sexy documentary about Giancarlo Granda and his affair with the evangelical Falwell couple? It's really Giancarlo's story and he's incredibly handsome. I feel really bad for him because the Falwells really seemed to have manipulated and entrapped this young man into basically becoming their guy for their cuckold fantasies. In some ways, I would consider what happened to Giancarlo to be fairly similar to prostitution except for instead of just money they offer him business dealings and access to their luxurious, Christian lifestyle. Don't want to get to into politics but this all happens in the backdrop of Jerry Falwell endorsing Trump and there's some interesting connections involving Michael Cohen as well. I thought it was really interesting though maybe a bit too political actually. Worth watching just to stare at Giancarlo for 90 minutes. Not only is he handsome but I found him smart and well-spoken. Felt really sorry for what he had to go through.
