I think what was most annoying about the lack of response was that I could see he had read my emails but still never bothered to reply or even say “I’m busy”.

I think it is a safe assumption that if the OP is unwilling to state what happened on a forum of strangers most of whom would be supportive, that it is almost assured that he is going to have trouble speaking with a doctor, specifically his doctor. We have no idea of the availability of medical services in his area, though I agree, he needs to get medical help as soon as possible. It may be that the act which occurred needs PEP but it may also be that the OP is unfamiliar with what is and what is not high risk and he may not need PEP. What he definitely needs is education, not humiliation. There is a man who has come to us for help, let us try to be kind and to offer whatever assistance we can,
OP, please be aware that if the man with whom you were involved is negative or has an undetectable viral load due to treatment your risk is either zero, the former, or very low, the latter situation. That is not to say that you should not be concerned, but that is to say that you need to act expeditiously and after seeking medical help, while in the waiting room, call your partner and ask his status, Get treated, get tested and deal with the results.
Blame does not play a productive role in this.

Reading through this post is insane re: is he or isn't he effeminate. Who cares? What a waste of time to debate if a masseur is effeminate or not. You are not dating him, you are just getting a massage. At the end of the day, with Garic, or any masseur, the important thing is if they do a great job. Period.

In my opinion, yes - he is a good choice.

I did not find him effeminate. I found him to be a genuinely kind, considerate, and nice person. And no, we don't use the word "nelly" anymore - please let's not marginalize or put down our fellow gays.

So... I was chatting with Damo in Las Vegas on an app. I ask alot of questions in advance. I know it can frustrate rentguys... Im willing to lose out on some good ones to weed out the bad ones. I was just getting ready to type YES when Damo sent:
My profile make it clear what I do
    U read it
U are Not buying a house or a car.
    Normal people they make appointment
Anyway. U sound. Creepy take care dude.

Ill acknowledge I ask alot of detailed questions. Even understand if a guy says "never mind..." and moves on.

But given that he went to hostile and name-calling.... Im pretty sure I dodged a bullet.

Damo has been using many of his profile photos since about 2006. Some of the others may be newer. I live in West Hollywood and used to see him around the neighborhood. He had a very muscular body, and a demeanor that that was very cold and aloof. He ran a masseur ad, and I sent him a message asking about a happy ending. The reply- “I am not prostitute”, which struck me as odd since he was running an ad on Rentboy at the same time. At that point I said “bye Felicia”.

A very average rub by a hot, disengaged, almost silent guy.

Took the plunge & he is a nice enough fellow with an incredible body. Both that & face mist look like photo 3 in MF ad

Both nude, mechanical MT, 15 mins. on back, 15 mins on front with his attempted HE, which just wasn’t there for me. In, showered & out in 40 mins. at 180 for an hour.

I arrived and entered the hotel room but the person who answered the door to give my massage was not the person in the pics. I asked him “Are you Al?” and he replied, “Al is my friend”. I apologized and immediately left. This is just my point of view, but I don’t appreciate when people are deceptive or do the bait and switch thing on me.

I've seen him. He's a nice guy very kind, if you like furry perfection he is your guy. I think he plays massages by ear. He is a professional but not an escort but he was liberal with the sensuality with me at least. I would say what happens with him would be vibed based. Not a mechanical order from the menu type up front either. I like going into massages without a lot being discussed. If you have a genuine connection with him something might happen but I wouldn't plan on an expected rub and tug. Worth a try if you think you have something to offer besides money. (like good karma and a decent body) The guy is hot so $$ is not going to motivate him. You will get a very good massage though, he is skilled, so I think it's worth it. For those of you trying to find a masseur that charges a massage rate and fulfills your fantasies of some god like figure thrashing you into submission like a porn star, no. So many guys here expect that and it isn't fair. That said, I do think the site is worthwhile to weed out the clear unskilled losers, escorts masquerading as massage therapists, sketchy russian LA masseurs, and crackheads. Saul is none of those. I'd say he is actually what most people should want or expect. If you want something more obvious, go to RentMen.

TOTALLY agree with @Hhuu . This guy is a nutcase. Don't let the hot pics fool you. I attempted to hire him a few weeks ago on a business trip, and he was prompt with text response, but from there it was ALL downhill. We booked a time at my hotel, and he kept jerking me around. One hour before he is supposed to show up, he texts and asks if we can move it one hour ahead (?) I was already hot to go, so agreed. Then he texts me 15 minutes before, and wants to change the time again! By now, I was getting pissed off, but gave him another chance. 10 minutes before he is supposed to arrive I get ANOTHER text asking if we can move it ahead another 30 minutes. I agree this one last time. Then at the agreed upon time, he is a no show! I text him and asks where he is. He says he is busy (?) and can we re-schedule. WAY to much drama with Damian. It ain't worth it. This dude has some serious issues. I would avoid him at all costs. He totally wasted almost my whole evening, the only evening I had off work. Hot guys like him feel that they can get away with this shit. I ended up immediately texting another masseur.....good looking guy.....not as hot as Damian, but a hottie. He was at my hotel within 30 minutes. NO drama and a great massage. Advice: Stay CLEAR of Damian, if you value your time and have no time for drama. This guy is trouble.

I tried to meet him while he was in Atlanta last week. Since he was someone who already had face and shirtless pics posted on his ad, I asked him to take and send me a fresh shirtless pic with him holding up two fingers in the pic. He refused. My experience has been that a legit guy will gladly do this (if he's in his hotel room, it takes about 15 seconds of his time) in order to secure a new client, especially if he already has other face and shirtless pics in his public profiles. Guys with fake pics will not do this, but will instead make up some lame excuse.

I had a negative experience with him too - he's a total crook who basically rips people off. Throughout the massage he kept checking his phone and texting. I asked him to stop texting since I don't feel it's appropriate for a masseur to constantly check/text on his phone during a massage appointment. His response (justification) was that he had to reply to his texts since they were other customers. He also ended the massage session early -- in 40 minutes -- which did not sit well with me considering the session was supposed to be 60 minutes. It's not cool, but guys like Anjrped who have no problem trying to swindle people out of money and rip them off. It's not a good feeling being duped, but live and learn.

If it ended at thirty minutes, I guess you could have just handed him half of his stated 60 minute rate. It's one thing when someone lists a dollar amount but doesn't specify a duration, but when a provider says (as this one does) $120 for an hour and then he ends the session early (which is quite different than a client having a happy ending and deciding that he wants to leave), he cannot very well complain that you aren't paying for an hour of service. Or, if he does, you can point out that only 30 minutes have passed so you assumed he was only interested in working for a half hour for some reason, offering him the opportunity to continue.

But I get your point. Sometimes it's easier just to pay for an hour and leave, with the knowledge you wouldn't ever book the guy again because of his poor business practices.
