My only recommendation for Bangkok spas, albeit going without saying, is to bring modest amounts of local cash currency bills for tips. The array of choice can be dizzying and induce FOMO. Well I'm back from my three days in Ft. Lauderdale.  I did go to Johnson's all three nights (Tue/Wed/Thurs).  I stay clear of bars on weekends as they get too busy and packed for my taste.  Anyway, all three nights at Johnson's were quite busy so I guess the high season for Florida has arrived.  Great fun all three nights.  As usual, lot's of latino dancers with a few Italians and Americans mixed in.  Only one fairly big muscle guy there.  He was from South Africa.   Tall with big muscles but strangely fem in the way he moved and danced.  Anyway, I spent time with Tobias (from Buenos Aires with a huge cock), Dorian (from Italy), Gregorio (from Cordoba Arg with a perfect big ass), Fire (from Madrid...super nice), Lionel (from Rosario Arg), and Mateus (from Medellin).  All good fun.  I always enjoy using my Spanish when I'm in the South Florida clubs.  There were multiple Canadians at Johnsons.  I did not recognize any of them but they said they were from Campus in Montreal.  Mostly on the smaller/skinny side so not really my type.  
The club was buzzing on the weeknights that I was there so I can only imagine what the weekend will be like.   Only a few women there...all of whom had a male escort.  Very handsome bartenders.  There are five lapdance cubicles to use.  They were all quite busy all three nights.

Like @SirBillybob, I rarely weigh in on the pricing debate because I know what I am willing to pay and when a guy quotes a higher rate, I politely decline without being outraged by the guy's rate. I don't see that as pushing back, much like deciding not to eat at a restaurant whose prices are outside my budget is not pushing back. 
That said, I don't let a provider's OF status influence my decision to accept/decline a rate that's over my threshold. Firstly, not every provider who says they are in the top 1%, 0.0625%, or whatever can possibly be at that level. The math just doesn't work. Secondly, I don't find most providers' content to be particularly interesting, so I'm not really looking for the scene they enact in their vids. Thirdly, (and I've said this many, many, many times before) some of my most lackluster hires were guys who were acclaimed, vaunted, and beloved by Forum members and popular among the porn-watching public. 
I guess the summary is "If you don't like the rate, take a pass." When enough prospective clients do this, rates will come down.

I don't find a $600+ / hour provider a good value.
And I have the money.

The higher the rate asked, the higher likelihood of higher class clientele to be seen by. Makes sense to me. Also, the lower the rate, coupled with the honesty of being around for a good long while, enable the provider to have the "gig" be the "job". Fly-by-night guys asking insane rates aren't to be taken seriously, as they're rarely taken.

One could understand him being circumspect and tentative with inquirers if he has a literal homicidal backstabber ex imprisoned and conceivably interested in making life difficult years on in the context of this profession. Guys who apparently don’t even know him personally came across as snarky and providers have to work to roll with such; that category is few degrees of separation from, say, tire-kicking time-wasting.
Not gonna get “I’ll be hosting specifically at 911 Fukmeova Blvd, my phone # is 2nd-att-empt, my therapeutic massage practice is legal, and the rate is clarified upon session booking duration, wink nudge, &c.”
Being rushed from a gym workout by ambulance with a blade deeply embedded in your back could be, well, traumatogenic.
Currently a contact number and more reviews, so perhaps somewhat more relaxed and confident.
It is true, though, there is a continuum of communication detail and clarity among our hobby candidates, yet the enterprise is in many ways set up for ambiguity in written messages.
