  1. FWIW, a good counter to the suspect review could be wordsmithed from various sections of the original commentary.
  2. While on the topic of race and desperate misanthropic spin-doctoring … Attention: NCIS Copacabana Dream Team: I have not come across any comments from self-identified Québécois or residents of Quebec that posted positive notes about this Point 202, assuming (irrelevantly) it is mislabelled as Ibiza Gym. Additionally, no Canadian to my knowledge has explicitly posted data regarding ethnic admixture. Consequently, any Canadian posting material may not be ruled out as having some component of First Nations ethnicity, or some other non-Caucasian element. Take me, for example. I am Canadian, born in the extreme far north, not Quebec, first Euro tongue English, decades later loosely appropriating Quebec status viz residency. Assigned to class action residential schools trauma sequelae assessments. Many direct lineage biological ancestors past century or so died of Spanish Influenza, or tuberculosis. Both parents orphans. Therefore, ignorant manipulative commentary about both positive regard for an obscure Copacabana venue and racial background can be but construed as fake news. If you have a basis for imputing racial background to a Canadian poster on this board's history or for attributing a robust fondness for a particular escort venue to a Canadian (or Quebec province) poster on this board’s history it would be interesting to review. 0 starz. Crap meter 10/10 You can always re-convene or discuss it on Queerty or at this supper club’s convoluted jazz and razzamattazz, also accessible by the faux multiple-specialty physician that presumably spearheaded trash-talk about a fellow he catfished, along with ID rep thievery, in to the murky backchannels of complex message boards. Because that is a major source of this polluted stream that took an upscale patient and strategic NCIS analysis 3+ years to draw out of a shell. With, I might add BTW, a serendipitous wheel-greasing from Zé here around Easter. Wonders and blunders never cease. Anybody I have a care for knows the story. I got what I wanted and needed. ~An amused, unsurprised Canadian, killing a bit of time before StJDeB stripper night in 🇨🇦
  3. Having also reviewed 202 with 1 star, the reviewer, possibly a DC guy viz his oil change waxing satisfaction this month, reviewed 117 with 5 stars accompanied by smirk emoticon during the same time frame. Can’t rule out a plant, perhaps, maybe, or bitterness about Copacabana pistons. It’s Barbosa’s business and his biz-wacks, as is the long time map-pin label duality. The ‘Ibiza’ upset is not nearly the 1600BC Minoan eruption. Barbosa may be able to locally detect the degree to which the original review, ostensibly written in American, is auto translated to Portuguese for whatever Brasileiros care about, or take with/out salt grains, these Google comments. Albeit some 1,000 sets of eyes on it and 1,500 on 117 thus far? Who knew male escort venues were tracked far more than auto detailing?
  4. I read you. If I had conflated the two I wouldn’t have clearly referenced their differential roles. We are now entering the territory of three different influences on subjective sexual experience: immediate limerence (‘personal chemistry’), longer-term attachment, and chemicals that may be used, with different results, as attempts to simulate nonCHEMS affective states. As these relate differently to everyone, the OP would need to sort out possible relevance and, I would hope, step back from artificially induced affective states if they are prevailed upon. I don’t know the factors impeding satisfaction or the unknowns that would enhance satisfaction for him. My sense is that early limerence is serendipitous and cannot be simply prescribed. Not being simplistic or reductionist, If I were interviewing somebody posing the questions as put by the OP, I would explore the confluence of behaviour, affect, physical sensation, imagery (eg, internalized fantasy), interpersonal dynamics, cognition, and drug/medical contextual factors. That said, this is not the place to resolve the OP’s dilemma. As a few contributors have wisely pointed out, his fix request appears to be in the external locus of control realm, eg, the right partner. How could anybody know an actual provider dovetailing perfectly with a request as abstract as that presented? And perhaps since followed by a substantial array of Grindr hook-ups. If I had elaborated previously as opposed to currently explaining a possible misinterpretation, this board would be the place where finger-pointing regarding post length and complexity may have occurred. 😉
  5. And likely not because of one’s personal street-corner chemist, though chems is not implied in the thread, and chems may create levels of consciousness that create an illusion of profound connection. That said, the intensity may be in anonymous brief context for some, but for others the high grade of limerence of being “in love”, of strong attachment, may be the key to the experience often termed ‘mind blowing’.
  6. Escort suggestion for hot guy. I’m good.
  7. Can I saw the figurative limb off proximal to trunk and distance from your insane stalking? Pass the chainsaw!
  8. Actually I do grasp irony. More importantly, I grasp overt manipulation from somebody so minimally south of the border they can be deemed to be borderline, desperately grasping to down-regulate a good 5-year reputation. By the way, if I was being ironic I would have posted to the fellow something like “you have commented on board negativity, while being among the most positive and optimistic of contributors”, so you may want to look up the meaning of terms you utilize in your incessant feeble little burn attempts. Your own cryptic post is an example of Socratic irony. Frankly, the irrelevance of it simply pulls a reasonably good thread off track. The moderators have no interest in a tangent that you initiated because you seem to want to revive a puerile little war of your own making. But it is also a sign of your trouble-making that you refer to one “R*****d” having been banned at another site (?) when he is obviously logging in, so not sure what little game you are playing at there.
  9. Wrote the guy that opened his set with:
  10. Ambiguous. you yourself lack a number of attributes? you are not picky but recommendations for bottoms should consider your attributes as briefly described? so, precious not precious? At this point I think I can only second-guess what the ask is not. 😏😘
  11. How we fail our truckers? Speak for yourself, Reader’s Digest.
  12. How urnestly? I had to ash.
  13. That’s a lot of stairs. 4 flights? Hope you’re OK now.
  14. Well 75 is late elderly so she’s lucky not to have been the late elderly, prematurely, a decade too soon. Which the late elderly is ironic considering my late fancy-hat grandmother, 75 to my 13, was always ready hours ahead of us.
  15. Rip-cord with all dressed 🍕slice.
  16. I believe it is attributable to Groucho Marx but a version of Oscar Wilde’s, roughly the same idea.
  17. Pummelling plumbers with plungers. (Step-, not incest)
  18. Social media can keep you on a mind leash that, in illusory fashion, mitigates the anxiety of demotion while pleasing you to death, offering surprise and revulsion, the tantalizingly unique catharsis of anger, while obscuring sadness that might otherwise occur if dwelling on the real world. It’s beautifully progressive and horrifyingly risky, the ultimate outcome uncertain, as with any stage of continuously transitioning human evolution. Example: a platform ‘ban’ in generic terms is conceptualized as an impoverishment when regular sabbaticals might actually be best built in. Penalty or favour. That itself says volumes about the ways in which social media may be both positively facilitative and deleterious to quality of wellbeing. I don’t post on the socials but I lurk for what dovetails with the same types of needs gratification that manifested decades ago. All I know is that I can handle it. The notions of both harm reduction and abstinence surely have their place as in any other dependency phenomena, according to best individual fit. Polarization, antithetical tension in perspective, is not itself a bad thing. There should be some degree of warning and caution … whether moderate or leaning to hyperbole is not that important. Many decisions are made in the context of disagreement. Often one can extract something relatable from a point of view that SEEMS incorrect or lacking, that apparent deficit often sourced in over-personalizing or in devaluing other.
  19. Apparently still functions according to the same playbook as ever, similar to Campus, Stock, etc. Drew above commented last year. I may swing by this summer but it will be a Mon or Tues and likely sedate, not representative. I believe partial or full wooden doors. I read on another platform that condoms are stocked in the cubicles so oral at minimum likely goes. I believe $5 to enter bar. I think currently one pays either $5 house + $5 dancer to enter the cubicles or a flat rate to the house $20. I would assume that if you go for consecutive privates thru an evening you don’t pony up $20 for access each iteration. I don’t get too worked up over such minor details and they likely change with time. I presume from there that dances are the conventional $20 per song. Years ago there were stunning dancers. AFAIK the same heyday not sustained characterizes current times. I’ll pack a few hundred bucks in case I find it worth burning through.
  20. I’ve done Amtrak before pandemic. Bus is much faster but the train is good to catch up on streaming etc which I do almost weekly in one sitting on my recliner for a few hours anyway. And it’s not assigned seating. I would take the Adirondack over a flight, as station locations MTL and NYC are superb for me.
  21. Set your ringtone nearby and ask him to call you … FullSizeRender.MOV
  22. I’m happy to openly deconstruct how I was catfished in a different type of scam scenario with an imposter. No money, romance, or sexualization was involved. I think that everybody has the capacity to be hoodwinked if the confluence of factors lines up just so. The important thing is to acquire the ear of neutral parties so that you can re-appraise the intersection of the two roles and your own contribution. A life lesson. I think that you could be a valuable resource in debriefing with this younger chap.
  23. Maybe if it’s real food a lower calorie range is sustainable? I don’t know much about it. I cannot link this article and I’m mostly adult lifetime 6’ 180lbs or less with relatively low cal intake but high on nutritive value, and gym attender 50+ years … I just don’t get very hungry and I eat until I’m not hungry (ie, if this remaining food were not in front of me would I seek it?), not until I feel full; the former seems to coast me through. But the article seems very interesting.
  24. Hey now, a dude’s dream-team in-fighting? Who’d have predicted? There’s a PhD in the works for a media studies grad student based on a 2-week platform slice alone.
  25. What in the deep-dish windy city malarky is all this?! Oh SVP …. Nobody draws a line in the sand? I’ll draw a line in the sand, for others’ ids and egos to trample over. C’est la vie. Nastiness, eating one’s own, on gay community message boards is rampant. Ever been to Queerty, Billy? A propos of the subject of social media personal comportment and online trolling phenomena, how about hostile targeted shaming-oriented outing-grade demeaning deadnaming of gay dudes the mods can barely keep up with? It’s hella whack-a-mole work. AFAIK the article underlines trends and accountability but has not explicitly recommended individual boycotting. It seems geared to advocacy messaging with a view to pushing platform showrunners to do and score better. If social media is so Beelzebub incarnate, why be all over it like a heat rash?
