In general, people will often debrief with a trusted friend prior to going to a Clinic. If you have a confidante, they may help assess the decision to pursue screening. Many folks attend PEP screening with someone they know.
 
A lot of guys paying for sex do not have a reliable non-judgemental "tribe" member. The forum may not be the optimal debriefing place, but in the absence of ... the above ...

Some people have a lower threshold of anxiety and may experience an isolated transmission phobia following behaviour that others view as negligible or zero risk. Someone may have AIDS phobia, have some insight into their "panic" state, and be self-conscious about pursuing transmission assessment or psychological help. I am not saying this is the case, but there must be some reason for the vagueness.
 
Let's face it, fear of transmission is a motivator for protection. Fear can thus be productive but also take on an extreme shape.
 
I think that what kept this thread ticking along was curiosity about what really occurred. My sense is that the OP got some advice behind the scenes that was useful if not technically formal.

I could keep going for pages, but I hope my point is clear: spending money on a high quality massage is never a waste.
 
If all you've ever experienced from massage are the massuses and massuers found online or in cheap parlors, it's likely you've never had an expert massage in your life. I've been fortunate enough to find great amateurs who give decent massages with extras over the years, but for real massage, I always seek out a professional. If anything extra happens with them, it's purely a bonus to an already incredibly beneficial experience. Treat humans well and you'd be surprised by what's possible.

I posted on his other ads in the past, one of my worst massage experiences ever. I’ve done this a few times before as well. I quickly realized that it can be almost even more enjoyable giving a massage/pleasing a client (a good client) than receiving once.

Masseurs who offer quality services have repeat clients and do not have to continuously try to defend their negative reviews. Your boasting about your life-changing services shows how desperate you are for more people to try you out. He's also unfortunately this chatty in person, it was a turn off but didn't want to tell him. Though he was prompt and met me at my place exactly when we have discussed which was great because LA. If I read his responses on here before booking I would've decided on someone else ---hate that 'I'm better' attitude and 'I can spot a bad masseur just by looking at their ad' bs.
