  1. Why is it always the "bad" ones that come back?
  2. He was a genius! I was in Tokyo at the Samurai museum and a tour guide was in front of a map explaining the geopolitical history of Japan. Guide: Then a large storm called a “tsunami" hit Japan…..and later a second storm hit Japan. American Guest: What was the second storm called? Me: There’s no basement at the Alamo! Chaos ensued. RIP
  3. LMAO. I can see you’ve never worked in a “Union shop".
  4. Kerry von Erich on the left, Mike von Erich on the right. God, how badly I wanted to be "one of the boys" in that family as a child.
  5. Yep, that’s about the only thing that’s kept me for hiring him off his RM ad.
  6. I’m pretty sure it was physics….but yeah, it was a good thing.
  7. If were stuck in Upstate and horned up…I’d fuck’em.
  8. I discovered her "Lion and the Cobra" album in college. It blew me away then, and it remains my go to album when I what to stay home alone, light the house with 100’s of candles, and rage against the universe. That much raw power and guttural passion has never been seen before or since. And yes, like most great artists, she was controversial and most likely insane. I’m ok with that. "Nothing compares to U" was the sound track to leaving my first boyfriend. And it remains true. He is one of a kind. Her next album "Am I Not Your Girl?" showed she had real musical chops, and respect for the Jazz Greats. So yes, I was and am a huge fan. I only saw her perform live once. It was the strange and twitchy mess that you’d expect, but it was strong and powerful nonetheless. RIP you proud and amazing Irish goddess! The phoenix from the flameYou will learn You will riseYou'll returnBeing what you areThere is no other TroyFor you to burn
  9. The porn link you sent is indeed hot. Still, the market will decide.
  10. He looks incredible but £300 an hour is STEEP by London standards.
  11. You’re trying to hurt me…aren’t you? grin
  12. I just want to say I love @purplekow for bitch slapping the fuck out of @Coolwave35 and I love @Coolwave35 even more, for taking it like a man. You guys rock. Tough love…is still love.
  13. Years go I picked up a guy at the local bar….only to discover he was wearing these when we got home. I was pissed big time!
  14. That’s all great…it’s still Queens. grin
  15. God, I want this so bad! Thankfully, my neighbors tolerate the local “eccentric homo"…. ”I mean, he does throw the best parties on the block."
  16. Nothing like an accidental reveal of an alter ego.
  17. Damn she’s got a fat ass….oh, wait….we’re not allowed to drift off topic. Wow, that statue of Tony Bennett is really nice….pity about the fat ass in front of it. grin
  18. When the signals are ‘mixed"…I’ve learned to trust the "negatives".
  19. @Coolwave35 I’m glad you got out of it in one piece. As you know these things can get messy fast. Chalk it up to a "lesson learned”. Just remember next time, unless you’re buying….it’s very unlikely coke is going to be involved. Thanks for sharing…..it makes my train wrecks seem less tragic….even if they aren’t.
  20. I’ll never forget decades ago taking my visiting parents out for dinner in an Italian restaurant in NYC and running into Tony Bennett. They went ape shit. It was cute to see. Tony was extremely charming and polite to them. A real gentleman. RIP.
  21. And does regularly like Old Faithful….
  22. I’m sorry. I was there a year ago and I pretty much hated it. I can’t help you here. Every meal I had was horrible. I tried TripAdvisor. I tried hotel concierge recommendations. I tried calling friends who had kids in school in Savannah for suggestions. It was basically 3 days of inedible food. It was almost comical. I was trying so hard to like it, and I failed so miserably. Depends. "Downtown" is fairly compact and you can walk most places. It felt very safe to me. I needed to go out into the boondocks so I had to have a car, but I didn’t use it much. I stayed there. It’s a very nice hotel. Kind of odd that it’s split on two sides of the street, but it’s the nicest hotel in Savannah. Breakfast was good, and kept me alive for the 3 days I was there. I’m sorry I’m not more help, but Savannah is a dump in my book.
