But in the circumstance of a straight man who was lied to about birth control, the man would still be on the hook for child support payments if the action resulted in a child. The woman probably would not be convicted of rape. The courts have been inconsistent on ruling whether lying about birth control, or taking off a condom (stealthing), constitutes rape.
