  1. Thank you! That is exactly why I'm doing it. I will take your suggestion with the nasal rinse!
  2. I am voluntarily wearing a mask starting today and through the weekend. I have a cruise next week, and I don't want to show up to the terminal and be asymptomatic positive and be turned away from the ship. Yes, I believe masks provide some protection, hence why I will adorn one for the next few days. I also believe in vaccines, hence I am vaccinated and double boostered, the most recent booster being 3 weeks ago. I also believe the threat at this point is not much worse than a strong seasonal flu, so hence I'm still traveling. If cruise lines weren't testing and turning people away at the embarkation port, I would just rely on the vaccine and wouldn't adorn the mask for the weekend. I'm sure I'll receive a barrage of angry comments from both sides. Some will say I don't care about others and am not taking things seriously enough, and others will say I'm taking too much precaution and not to worry about it. My point of sharing is to show there's a middle ground. And whatever you choose to do, to do it with thought and a purpose and not out of fear.
  3. As much as I don't care for piercings on men or women, I LOVED my one experience bottoming for a guy with a Prince Albert.
  4. I tell myself my those white hairs in my beard aren't gray... They're just stained with cum
  5. I walked into an ice cream parlor and asked myself "Where are the adults?". The employees all looked so young, I couldn't believe any of them were old enough to be left alone by themselves. I was age 24 at the time.
  6. Sometimes I prefer clean cut, and sometimes I prefer uncut. 😜 But seriously, I prefer no tattoos or piercings. Beards are ok (they are also not permanent). While I use to prefer clean shaven faces, I grew a beard 5 years ago and it increased the amount of attention guys paid to me, so I've kept it.
  7. You might get more responses in "The Spa" section of the forum, where massuers are discussed
  8. I'm glad you like him! I'd happily recommend him to others in town. My neighbors have used his services as well. He's not for everyone, however. For example, he doesn't adorn a mask 😷or ask his clients to wear one, and that may be a trigger for some thems. A few years ago he helped me realize it was normal for most people to have sex on their mind throughout the week, and it would be healthy to go out and enjoy it rather than staying home. I definitely feel my life is more in balanced now.
  9. This is reason enough for me to avoid. "I'm from the Government and I'm here to help"
  10. My therapist knows. Hiring or getting paid for sex is not an insecurity for me or a hangup for my therapist. It is a part of who I am and what brings me joy. He also rightfully agrees that we all pay for companionship in one form or another. My therapist has helped me mentally deal with things that I wanted to change such as alcohol consumption and my work performance. For example, he'll bring up how I don't need alcohol to talk with an escort, so I should be able to talk with strangers at a bar without alcohol as well.
  11. In my sophomore year of high school, I skipped school for half a day and went to the beach with a classmate
  12. It must be working, if it's so discreet that most people aren't noticing it 🤣
  13. Bank deposits are at an all time high, even with close to zero interest rates.
  14. A young stripper or escort who says he maximizes his Roth IRA contributions
  15. I saw a "resort fee" and immediately passed. Just raise the price. Resort fees are a hard "pass" for me. But the hotel looks lovely and I wish them the best of success. We need more naked men's hotels.
  16. That's an acceptable number to me. I would not be shutting down lives and livelihoods for 1 in 500 on earth. Back in April 2020 I assumed that my risk of death or severe lifetime side effect from living my life unchanged during the Wuhan virus spread would be 0.5%, or about 1 in 200, which was similar to polio outbreaks. I was willing to do my part and stay 6 feet away from others except during sex. I'm glad we now have the vaccine and this chapter can be put behind us. The experts can now focus on more life threatening issues such as a cure for the common cold, depression, and making up for the educational development loss from distance and masked learning.
  17. That's not what Dr Wachter said in his chirp. He said it is fine to not wear a mask in a crowded indoor space if you are okay with catching the virus. And, no, I and most others shouldn't care if someone catches the mostly assymptomatic virus at this point. We stayed home to flatten the curve and spare our hospital beds from reaching capacity, and we developed a vaccine for the world to use. It's done, move on.
  18. This is great news and advice! I'm glad asymptomatic cases are on the rise, as opposed to life threatening cases. I am definitely Okay catching a virus that has little to no affect on the human. If only we can change the common cold to become asymptomatic as well! I will be following this leader's recommendation of keeping mask off in crowded indoor spaces. Thanks!
  19. My position on gay sex is "pro".
  20. It would be interesting to compare changes in life expectancy in locations with more restrictions vs fewer restrictions.
  21. Very true. But those terms are nearly impossible to find these days. When I was shopping for LTC coverage about 8 years ago, all policies had a limit of 3 years of lifetime benefits. That limitation swayed me to not purchase LTC.
  22. Ask the people of Shanghai how that's going. Conversely, I believe we'll find that the rules and lockdowns caused more long term health problems to society than the virus itself ever could have.
  23. I looked into LTC coverage in my early 30s. I did the math and it made sense to use the money to maximize my Roth IRA contributions instead. They both would yield similar financial returns should I actually qualify for a LTC disbursement, but there's a 50/50 chance that I would not need LTC. At least with a Roth IRA I'd still have the money to use on other things or leave to my estate, should I not need the care. The only way the math wouldn't favor retirement contributions is if I needed the care when I was young and the Roth IRA didn't have time to grow before it was needed. However, I discovered my employer already provided me with robust short term disability, long term disability, and medical early retirement pension provisions. Therefore, I'm not buying LTC insurance.
