I'm getting sick to my stomach about the UK. It's less than two months before I am supposed to fly out and they are still requiring quarantine for incoming travelers.

If you text a locksmith, and ask if he can come over immediately, and the locksmith says no, I don't see any reason why the locksmith should be mad or annoyed.  If the locksmith doesn't want text messages inquiring about availability, he can remove his contact info from the advertisement.
The locksmith may text back that he is available the next day to provide his service, but the customer has no obligation to text back.  It may be nice and courteous to text back, but I don't think there is an obligation.
You can replace "locksmith" with the service provider of your choosing.

Assuming by "few seconds of text" you mean 30 seconds (so quite generous), you would need 2,880 texts to add up to a day.  And some of these are while you are watching TV, or something else, so they didn't really take time you could have spent elsewhere.
That being said, you could hire a remote personal assistant to handle your bookings.  Their hourly rate is probably lower than yours and it will be good for your mental health to not get as aggravated.

The overnight hours really depend on the provider you are hiring. I have seen providers stating 8 hrs as considered overnight, etc. For me, an overnight start anytime in the evening and goes until the next morning. I am not a clock watcher. The dinner will depend on what time you two are meeting. If you are meeting before 8pm, I would check with your provider the dinner options. After 8pm, I always expect that my client has already had dinner. But anyway, I was talk to my client in advance to set expectations from both. About the fun time before, during and after bed time, there's no right answer to that. I am okay with all of them. Just make sure your provider has a good amount of sleep and check with him if he does have a regular job and what time he needs to be up the next day. I work for myself and remotely, so I never have the problem but it is always nice to check with them.
Please feel free to message me if you have any questions. I am new to this but trying to share the little knowledge and the stories I have heard from my clients.

Like I have posted previously, none of the regulars I see have raised their rates for me. If someone went up 10% year over year, I'd be fine with it. Any higher and I'd reduce the number of times I see them a year.
And @Rod Hagen, more and more I need to visit LA again and hire you unless you decide to visit the better coast and come to NY.

I try to avoid having clients ask health related questions especially if they are currently going through something. For me, it's too uncomfortable to read. I will never ever make a death date prediction for anyone. As a child, I was given a "death year" and it fucked me up for a couple decades. Not opening that can of worms for someone else.

Never say never, but I would never raise rates on clients I've seen for years.  All others are fair game.

However, it's all theoretical because I've never raised my rates in 22 years of escorting! (which I've bitched about here extensively).

Let's that that thought a bit farther, then. Since Crowley's Thoth deck responds well to questions about the forces at play in a situation, (as opposed to discrete events and people,) we sometimes engage in what we refer to as future-casting. When the querent is faced with several choices that will pull their life in clearly different directions, we do a series of readings. For each one, the question is framed in the form of 'what will be the result of making [choice X]?' The readings then provide a glimpse of the dynamics that result from each choice. It's a kind of visualization tool that helps to put the querent into different probable futures, enabling them to get a feel for what their life might be like in each case, and that helps them to make their choice. Have you ever tried that sort of thing?

I think I imply that in a sense. I tend not to make outright predictions on anything especially since most of my clients don't actually ask their questions out loud for some reason. Not knowing the specifics of what they want to know makes it hard to be specific myself.
I usually ask my clients to focus on one question or one area of their life they are confused about. The first two cards they pull indicate "how they got to today;" the middle card is "what is happening in that moment;" and the final two cards are "where their mind and energy is taking them based on today." I am a believer in free will so I always tell clients you have the power to alter the future by the decisions you make based on the energy you are projecting. Most people have been pleased with my readings.

As an overweight client, it's always a worry for me. Thankfully, I have yet to message someone who had an issue when I told him in my initial contact. I do stick to well known (on here) escorts so that could be why I have been fortunate.

Number 22, regarding maids stealing, is something I tell people all the time. Maids aren't going to risk jail for a twenty laying around even in a casino hotel. Never once had any money I left in room "disappeared." I mark tips with a note under the cash so they know it's theirs and that is all they ever take. The problem now is I have remember to keep paper on hand because they have removed the pads due to the pandemic.

    Pretty subjective category.
There's no set standard for sure.
My personal expectations of the request would be to NOT rush to wash off your c*ck after sex and ask for your money. Hangout for a bit and pretend you actually like me. 🤣

Being direct is one thing, seeming curt is another.
The difference between a direct but personable "Hey, thanks for the message - my rate is $200, and I'd be glad to meet you when I get to Boston" and a merely curt "200" is a big one. I treat my clients in my line of work with at very least that much respect, and I don't have all day to type either. Somehow, Kevin, I very much doubt that you simply bark a figure at a prospective client without saying anything else.

Just noticed this message, must have missed it in between replying to the previous one.
But yes, you are spot on! People, especially “gay guys” (I know it’s Pride Month, but considering the level of overblown egos and general self serving mentality that seem to frequent the gay community, I think it’s time to start calling it something different...maybe “National LGBTQ ACCEPTANCE Month”
Anyhow though, yeah it is sad that people who book us can be wishy washy. And I totally get it. Clients have told me how nervous and difficult it was to make the move to hire. However, I still have to treat things matter of factly. And hosting without a deposit in the way I host, is out of the question.
Since the update, I have noticed only slightly fewer requests for incalls... but that’s alright by me because I’m not catering to the “can I come over right now” brigade. Which is not an issue either, long as they do the deposit. But when I’m home, it’s hard for me to do last minute appointments so I miss a good chunk of weekday lunch hour business.

Jarrod, I read a lot of what you post and I am truly sorry for all the troubles you have. I, myself, would never flake or ghost someone I hire as an escort. I have too much experience with that in my non-hiring life and it fucking sucks. I am lucky that I have never once had to cancel an appointment especially less than 24 hours prior. One time I was close to doing so when I knew I was at the beginning of a cold and couldn't get ahold of the guy to ask him if he would still be comfortable seeing me. Since I couldn't reach him, I toughed it out and went. I am so glad I did because it was one of my best experiences.
People, as a species imo, seem to be terrible at courtesy and respect. Maybe selfishness is an evolutionary trait only few humans are able to overcome? Maybe it's the time we are living in that is making people, especially US based people, more selfish. I honestly don't know.

    Minor (or major) correction above.
    Snippet from Original Post:
Bored while getting for work this morning. So was thinking, how about a game? Used to like "never have I ever" as a great drinking game, but thought we could do it here. Instead of drinking (which you can still do - it is 5p somewhere ), you can like the post if you have done whatever the poster claimed he has never done. It can be about anything...does not have to be sexual (although that could be fun as well).

I'll start. Never have I ever tossed a salad. - UPDATE - I actually tossed a salad (literally) a month ago - but I can't like my own post. So...
