I'm not in the business, but I often thought that it would make sense to adjust your rates depending on how booked you are.  If most days you are looking for more clients, then you may consider lowering your prices.  If most days you are booked full (whatever "full" means to you) then you may consider raising your prices.  "Full" can be whatever you want: from one session each evening after your day job, or three sessions each day.
