i agree - Dave Ramsey had some good ideas about budgeting and saving for a rainy day, but that is pretty much where the value stops. To listen to him about credit or investing is a mistake. His rants are a bridge too far. FICO is a little like baseball - learn the game and play it with patience.

I have noticed that you keep bringing up the same topic. Seems to me, you are asking the right questions, but are you sure this is the right place to seek answers? Have you considered changing the optics on your current role in education? Become a consultant for a tutoring firm or build out a tutoring client base. Learn to love teaching again, by working with individuals. Help kids with college applications, their application essays etc. Better hours, more money and it utilizes your existing knowledge base… A complete change to something brand new seems daunting. Just my 2c.

You are taking the right steps - getting to know yourself and speaking to a therapist is a good start. For a relationship to start, progress and mature you need to be open to the idea. Random hookups may be fun, but they are unlikely to lead you there. Be open to more. NYC actually makes is more difficult - so easy to disappear in the crowd here. Some of the professional providers I have seen, and continue to see are a great blessing and I value them, but not sure that is the long term solution. You sound a little discouraged - keep in mind that male to male relationships were so much more difficult for us older folks - we never had the role models you, the younger generation, have today. My one piece of advice is to engage with the community and find real attachment to it. Join your local gay association or community center. Meet older guys, they can be helpful in navigating life and may even be able to introduce you to guys that are compatible with what you are looking for.

I have developed a love for Nando’s. First tasted it in the UK where it is wildly popular, but now available in select cities in the USA. Portuguese style spicy chicken.

My old Cannon printer works fine with Windows 11 but I had to reinstall the driver and I have to connect it physically with a USB cord - the wifi printing does not work. The printer dates to 2010 so I am not surprised that I have to take extra steps. I did not speak to Cannon to get help, but if they advise you not to try it, I would follow that advice. May be time for you to upgrade to a new printer.
