What is your upcharge for regular kissing vs French kissing? How many kisses are included in your upcharge? 3? 4? 10? Do you run a special on Valentine’s Day? Do you check for halitosis first? I love me a good chocolate kiss but I think I’ll pass on you. Which reminds me...I’m out of Hershey’s kisses. Off to the candy store.

I did meet with Boulevard Man..great dude. A lot of fun with a lot of personality and an amazing body. He is going to SF for the weekend but he will be back during the week if you wanted to meet up with him. He is a little ADD at the beginning so bear with that but when we actually got together it was all attention on me and was a lot fun. PM me if you want more details. He's the only one I'm going to be able to meet with. I was really tempted to get with Mason Lear but really could only afford one and Boulevard Man clicked with me a lot during our communications so just went with him.

Unfortunately... Im coming up empty during a visit. But also learning something about myself... perhaps I'm just settling into the old fuddy-duddy years. It seems a hell of a lot easier to not let my crotch take over and lead me into a regrettable purchase. I'm so much more content to not get my rocks off.

I've been told the same thing. And even posted it in other threads.

One of the first times I heard it: a wise rentguy said it to me when I asked him about a very dramatic experience I'd had with another rentguy.

I personally don't believe Trump causes it.

My hypothesis is that we've moved into an era of unrestricted reaction, or impulse behavior. The cellphone addiction both reinforces and exemplifies it. Its ok to say outrageous things, ok for kids to shame and bully on social media. Trump legitimizes it with his tweets, and has helped kill basic civility.

Is hate and intolerance on the rise? I believe so, or at least expressions of hate are permissable.

We also have moved into an era where attention-seeking behavior is a legitimate pasttime or even a career.

Humans are impressionable. The more we see hate and violence; the more we are conditioned to communicate without consequence; the more people behave in a manner thats intended to shock and draw attention..... the more prevalent insulting behavior becomes.

I can relate. With the semi-exception of well-reviewed rentguys Ive seen in the past, Ive come to have very low reliability expectations for the guys. Even guys Ive seen 4 times previously have ghosted. Or disappointed with uncharacteristic performance.

I can recall multiple times that I allowed unfulfilled plans/hopes to undermine my satisfaction. Thinking back, most of my bad experiences arose from unplanned choices after initial plans fell through. Or, I just felt frustrated.

Not a recommendation for others, but I'll admit that I manage by having skeptical, low expectations. Hires are now categorized as extras in my planning. Like one of many excursions on a cruise. When planning any trip, I seek out other pasttimes, whether hiking, sightseeing, entertainment, dining, etc. Ive intentionally moved hires down the list. The opposite of centrepiece of my trip, its an add-on. Its my way of not letting my crotch determine how much fun or satisfaction resulted from travel.

Ive never had quite that situation, but ive experienced change of mood midway through a session.

There are two people in the room. Theres a good chance that what goes wrong has very little to do with you.

Im absolutely certain Ive been with escorts, new to the game, who became depressed about what they were doing partway through the session.

There are alot of judgments heaped on both clients' and escorts' decisions. The people on this board are probably enlightened enough not to judge.... but who knows what external forces or inner demons are at play in any human interaction?

Something similar happened to me many years ago. Early internet days, a rentguy was enthusiastically describing internet access for travelers. In response to my show of interest, pulled out his laptop, demonstrated wifi, etc. Wasted 25-30 minutes. I was actively engaged during that time. But then, 25-30 minutes into interactive time, he announced "time's up." And when I expressed concern the internet stuff was a waste of time, he replied that time is time, doesnt matter how its spent.

Technically, he was right. But, I learned an important lesson about retaining focus, controlling time, in these situations.
    =============================
Time management efforts over the years:
Turn on the old fashioned clock radio in hotel rooms to play 60-min music. Music stops, "times up" reminder

Ive frequently offered off-the-clock time to guys. Guys visiting town will accept a ride to the gym. Or a tour of SF. Accompany me to a restaurant... or to get their protein at Whole Foods, then eat in-store with me.

I ask politely, offer a friendly service to a visitor. I'd estimate 75% decline. But quite a few have said yes when I ask as preparing to leave their hotel room in SF.

Never ask if I'm in their city, and they're at my hotel.

Anyone else tune in for Rent Live on Fox Jan 27?

Except, it mostly wasn't live, because Roger broke his foot during dress rehearsal Saturday. So Fox aired the dress rehearsal, which had been taped. Only the final scene was live, showing Roger seated, leg elevated and wearing an orthopedic boot, as he sang the final love song to Mimi.

Overall, I thought it was a good performance. Thought there were a few misses, couldn't help wondering what they would have tweaked/corrected after dress rehearsal. I thought Jordan Fisher as Mark was fantastic. Got a chuckle when they held up the traditional Mark's sweater for a "oh no," decline in the scene where Angel buys Collins a coat. While I thought Tinashe as Mimi was good overall, I thought she was very pitchy in "Out Tonight." Enjoyed Keala Settle's contributions.

The concert-like screams of all the Rent-heads were distracting for me, as were cast members' interactions with the audience... like leaning off the stage to touch hands, like reality-TV talent competitions. A good portion of the lyrics were drowned out by audience screams. It wasn't promoted as "Rent - In Concert." Nice to see the original Rent cast members in the live encore.

Overall, as a fan of Rent, I thought it was worth watching. And my follow-ups will be to take note of Jordan Fisher, and to see if Keala Settle has released any music.

My pot-smoking years are long behind me. I doubt I'd indulge, even if presented with the legal opportunity.

I suspect many advocates haven't considered all aspects. Driving stoned, for example. Theres a detection progression for alcohol from breathalyzer to blood test. Is there a non invasive test for pot?

Employers have rights and responsibilites if employees show up hungover... what if they're wrecked from partying? Nipping from a bottle kept hidden in your desk is considered wrong nowadays - would a few coworkers sharing a joint during break be equally wrong?

Legalization, regulation, and taxation probably makes sense. Even if marijuana smoke is as harmful as tobacco, or if one accepts an argument that effects of nicotine and addiction are traded for whatever altering properties of marijuana..... its absurd that we permit booze and cigarettes but not pot. No reasonable person could make a science-based argument that weed is worse.

Somewhere buried in my attic is a box of paraphernalia. Bongs, pipes, smoking tubes and toys, rolling machines, even a hookah. Maybe they'll become some kind of cool vintage collectible, and I'll be on the new PBS series ANTIQUE HEAD SHOPPE

I live in SF Bay. Have no personal recommendations. But I load those apps and use them when traveling. And each time I prepare to leave or return to town, my phone lights up with notices about SF bars, events, etc. Each app has a feature to research travel destinations as well.... you can check before arriving here.
