As a client who has submitted a few reviews, I don't expect anything in return. I do it to help keep escorts in business so I can visit with them again.
 
I have gotten verbal/text "Thank you"s, and I'm sure it means when I ask for another appointment they are more willing to see me again. But that's it.
 
The difficult part may be in finding clients who will do reviews. Many do not, for a multitude of reasons. But I think if you offer good service you will get someone who is of a mind to review you.
 
I would be very uncomfortable with a provider who offered something to me to do a review of them. I wouldn't be bothered by a simple ask to do a review, but I wouldn't like the offer of a kickback.

Unless you and the escort can go like rabbits for the whole time, I suggest multiple hours with someone where there is a mutual connection. Do two hours, and if you have interests in common: movies, music, something. You'll have time to fill, and it's much easier on you, and you will get better results from him if you have something to talk about. If all you have in common is his body, time will drag.

A 100% tip seems excessive, but it was just that - a tip. His decision to set a price that includes the tip would put me off.

This makes sense to me, from a business perspective. Since the escort had the idea it was just the amount, if nothing else is available, take less money and get the money in rather than having an income-less night. In that section of the report, it's a decent conversation, and inquiry as to price, the client not being willing to spend it and the two men ending there. The escort has a plan to salvage some income if he doesn't get other business. Sensible. The same would happen in other businesses. If your price is too high, you need to adjust it.

I have been guilty, once or twice, calling a guy at 11:30 after someone had flaked on me earlier that night. I was properly contrite and embarrassed and all that, and said I'd totally understand if it's too late and too short a notice. Doesn't hurt to ask, I would not have been at all offended if they had decided not to respond.

I believe the dancer fees paid before at the gatekeeper was started (when I first went there, you paid the dancer directly, usually after) due to too many cases of the client not having an entire fee afterwards. I think one of the dancers told me that, so I could be wrong.
 
It also emphases that it's just a normal, private session. _Technically_ I think they are dancing for you naked, but that's never what's happened with me there . That covers Swinging Richards, but you can arrange for additional services privately with the dancer. If the dancer is willing. In a room, dancers will usually be hard, and let you feel anywhere (touching it technically prohibited - especially on the main floor). Dancers may be willing to be sucked or suck you. That's not a given. Cover it with them before if it's a must for you.
 
Some dancers are much more open to offers than others. If a dancer declines an offer, I wouldn't try to convince them, but that's just me. If you hit it off with a dancer, they may let you do more. Again, their decision.

As much as I personally dislike haggling, since there is no widely available place to see rates, I think this is an escort trying to find what the market will bear. As @RyanDean says, if it's the only red flag, it's him working for business. In the current times, I expect it more often. Since rates aren't posted any more, if I ask a provider a rate, I'd reply back if it were too high. When rates were posted, I wouldn't even ask.

If it was the only redflag, I would probably proceed. But that's in the context of this new reality with no posted rates.
 
I don't haggle, and hate having to broach the subject. (It was so much easier to say "going off your terms as posted today on RM"...) I will say "that's a bit more than I was anticipating -- sorry" and then wait to see what the gent says but I won't make a counteroffer...

Rates are tricky in this business. I personally don't ever discuss a rate. If it's more than I'm willing to pay, I don't go on. Reading this forum, most of the comments about rates seem to deal with either clients really trying to low-ball, or escorts asking for such huge amounts as to be laughable.
 
From an economics perspective, if you offer flexible rates, most or all perspective clients will ask for the lower one, especially if they perceive they will get the same services regardless of what they pay. Why should I pay $300 for x, y, and z, if you will do that for $200?
 
On the client side, I feel I could get a discount rate since what I ask for in a visit isn't as demanding as a lot of clients. That's my preference, and I get what I want, so I'm happy, he's happy, we're both happy.
 
As a provider, if you had a regular who didn't ask for as much as your standard client, would you offer him a discount if he seemed willing to pay your normal rate? Possibly, but probably not. Why would you take less than he was willing to offer?
 
Rates in this business are set like they are in other businesses, only the providers really can't see very clearly how much what other providers charge do to increase or decrease business.
 
For gas stations across the street, it's easy to see a one or two cent change effects business. For escorts, there are many factors. In an underserved area, locals can't charge a lot since clients would not call them. Travelers can get more (in general) but only so much more. I would doubt the Nashville market would be busy for a $500/hour escort as that's much higher than the locals. A good small market escort would be mobbed for $200/hour in New York or LA but would be missing out on making a lot of money since he could get more for the same services.
 
I honestly feel for providers trying to set rates. Too high or too low has a direct impact on their bottom line (or just their bottom )
