okay, so I met a guy about 6 months ago. He’s a fitness model so I expected to pay a premium. I paid 400 and because he put on a good show, gave him another 400. Possibly a bit generous but hey.

So I just saw him again and he asked for 800. He just assumed I would give him the same.

I gave him 600 and we’ll probably never meet again as it’s left a sour note.

Thoughts? Am I being a dick? Or is he?

In my opinion a tough one because yeah really nice gesture of appreciation and i often will tip on a first meeting to make sure the guy knows I'm serious about meeting again in the future. Double edged sword in some cases because some will think you got the dough so they'll go for it but i agree with you it makes for a really awkward situation if he assumes it will be the same and then makes it worse (almost like you should feel guilty) when you tip him 50% more than his already pretty high premium rate. I'd be put off by it.

So you set an expectation the first time with the very generous tip, and then reset it the second time. Awkward maybe, but not disrespectful, so just keep swimming through this. I'd definitely schedule a 3rd time. You may have motivated him to work really hard to deliver a superior experience in hope of earning that big tip again! Will be interested to hear what his quote is for the next visit.

as @rvwnsd says, a 100% tip is unusual.....I don't know why you felt the need to do that (that may be a whole other thread subject??), but you established a pattern with that action and now the provider feels anything less for the same time and service indicates either you're shorting him or he's not performing as well......

if you two are still "speaking", you might want to just be honest and say you tipped very highly the first time, but that you're still operating as if $400 is his standard rate......gee, on second thought, I think you screwed this up with that first tip......hmmmm

You ruined the market. He now thinks he was charging to little because he was tipped the same amount as asking price. I always wonder why so many first timers have outrageous prices. They probably had similar experiences.

He’s greedy and self centered. You did nothing wrong.

Him outright asking for $800 the second time was an outright insult to your intelligence and your generosity. Your generosity would be better placed with someone who has less greed and more appreciation.

Sorry but I’m on the model side here. Not that I support the price, but I can understand what happened. If he’s a fitness model and never escorted before, he probably didn’t know what the price was for doing so. If I did a job, and someone tipped me the exact amount for it, I’d think I was asking way too little in the first place. I’d think I was being taken advantage of. He wasn’t being taken advantage of, but did he know that?

You are proposing a huge "if" for which I would need a qualification before changing my opinion.

You don’t have to change your opinion. But I’m not sure what you want me to qualify?

I didn't mean to imply that it was incumbent upon you to qualify anything. The qualifier would have to come from the original poster and or the escort involved as to whether or not this was a first-time experience for the escort.

At first you did mistake of being over generous and showing him the way that your pockets are deep and you will pay anything that he demands! You are generous by meeting again! I hope in a restaurant you must be helping the waiters and waitress with double the food bill as a tip ! I appreciate your that attitude! However, here you were over generous and I understand that why we do it to boys here! But be careful next time :)

What was the purpose of leaving a 100% tip the first time? To say something about him or to say something about you?

Mike most of the times here clients are over enthusiastic and in seventh heaven after the session! In that zeal they pay 100/200% more! I say tighten the pant so that it doesn't keep dropping in front of hot guys with greedy character!

Question- did TOP make it VERY clear that the tip was extra? Because if not, it seems murkier IMO.

BTW I’ve had similar situations with model-models or fitness models and made it super clear when and why I might be paying extra, such as to reverse a “no kissing” rule.
