I actually like the guys who don't show off their muscles. Just my own personal taste, I find flexing and intentional display of muscles off-putting. The muscles are visible and noticeable anyway. So not intending to put people down, I am more curious about muscle worshiping. I don't get it. What is it about the display of muscles that makes people throw money at them?

Just as crushme99 replied, I have no idea. I do know that it's like I was hardwired for it. I remember from my youngest age being fascinated by guys flexing their muscles on TV or in pictures. They didn't have to be huge bodybuilders either.

Growing up in my neighborhood the ages of the gang of kids ranged from pre-pubescent me to boys in their early teens. In the hot, humid summer evenings a few of the older boys would run around shirtless. I remember one boy flexing for some reason - and while today I might call him toned at best - I remember that all I wanted to do was run up to him and feel his biceps and chest. Of course I knew better than to do that. But that image is still in my mind, decades later.

And then there was the neighbor who was on the high school wrestling team and would work out shirtless in his garage in the summer evenings. By the time he was approaching his senior year, he was much more than well-toned. I was into puberty by that time and made up a lot of fantasies about how I could get alone with him. Of course, nothing ever happened.

  2. Stolen pictures? Rentmasseur member for two days.

Reverse image search of the beach photo leads to Facebook and X/Twitter accounts for an "Entrepreneur, Online Coach, Fullstack Lifestyle" person who looks very much like the pictures in the rentmasseur ad. Toronto, Canada "Serial Entrepreneur dedicated to helping People Ditch the 9-5 and start living"

I have neither Facebook nor X accounts so can't research further.

Maybe the whole ditching the 9-5 includes a side gig giving handjobs.

Oh he's tasty looking. If nobody gives any feedback soon I'll take him on and see how good of a bottom he is.

    bumping this.

@secgoo - did you take him on?

He’s wearing Diesel underwear. He’s either being ironic or the photographs are 20+ years old.

He has been around for a long time. He was in SF for a while, I think. He must be early-/mid-30s. And I thought he used to be Israeli. I always found his ads enticing but never took the plunge. He's definitely put on more muscle.

Thanks for the heads-up on him.

I also like it when I find someone on both rent sites, as it gives me a hint as to what might happen. If his escort profile says vers or bottom, bonus! The fetishes he indicates are sometimes helpful, too.  Also, if he indicates PnP, then that’s a red flag, and I avoid even a massage from the guy.

    Agreed!

Not only PNP but, also for me, smoking is a red flag. I can't stand the smell or taste of tobacco so cross-referencing a rentmasseur ad with a provider's rentmen ad helps me eliminate the tobacco smokers.

I don't understand how a guy can put a "no" for smoking and then in his "intos" list smoking. When I questioned one guy about it, he said that he never would smoke tobacco but was 420-friendly.

  6. You have excellent taste, RubMyThighs.

Did you try searching these guys for existing threads? For example, the delicious-looking TuckerNYC has a thread, with positive comments, in the Deli.

    https://www.companyofmen.org/topic/141079-interesting-newbie-in-nyc-tuckernyc/#comment-2100872

And several threads on Lucamassini, including a RM link, plus others in your list.

I bet from a compilation of this existing info, you could figure out a provider who will satisfy you. 😃

  7. This reminds me of a short story in a collection of gay BDSM erotica from the 1980s, maybe 1970s, given to me by an ex.

You know, the before times, when gay porn of every persuasion and fetish wasn't immediately available so long as we have an internet connection.

As I recall the story had a little of everything. An uber-muscular alpha demon. A muscular alpha victim put in his place by the demon. Bondage. Body horror in the form of a penis magically dissociated from the body. Cum control because the victim's penis wouldn't reattach should he ejaculate while undergoing intense pleasure torture by the demon. Even a sort of shocking twist ending, in that it was all real!

Maybe Minister Lucifer will magically transform from beast to beauty.

Exactly what I thought, but the bad version.

Am I the only one who finds it odd that in picture 14 (the one with the bed and mirror in the background) his reflection doesn't appear in the mirror behind him?

Bitchery and snark aside, this guy does absolutely nothing for me.

I must politely disagree. This guy does do something for me. He repulses me.

    But to each his own.

Would only hope he was not a English Composition major.  His profile was so overdone, that if it were Thanksgiving dinner he would be tossing out the turkey from the silver platter and ordering in McDonald's on his platinum American Express.

Spoke language is English. Written language is ChatGPT.

Bet he snuck into Emirates Business Class just long enough for that snap before the flight attendant chased him back to Economy.

Which is problematic when you ask OTHER PEOPLE their opinions regarding physical appearance.

    For example:

I don't find MONSIEUR_HUNG to be the least bit attractive. I don't know if I would fuck him if he paid ME !   That's how little I am attracted to the fellow.

Rainer, I would definitely do, but I also wouldn't describe his look as "classically handsome".

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and you're never going to find twenty people to agree on who's handsome.

The other problem in NYC is that this is a very international crossroads. So you get people from all over the world..and you're always going to find a very broad range of types of men advertising on Rent.men.  It seems to me that what sells in middle America (All-American White boy with muscle and a fat cock) isn't necessarily what sells in multi-cultural New York. Same when you ask about "classically handsome" ...which has a broader range of Hollywood Hunks who fall into that category. I don't really see them passing through here much. Maybe there isn't much of a demand.

    Hear. Hear.

I find most of the guys listed in the top of this thread attractive but also boringly similar.

The world is full of classically handsome men depending upon your background, your exposure to diversity, and your leanings.

To paraphrase what Donna Noble said to #15... Handsome comes in a range of colors.

And hugs to anyone who gets the reference.
