As escorts, I don’t think we owe our clients extensive conversation (unless it was otherwise agreed upon). As a human being, you’d be a scumbag to not keep up a good rapport with someone that’s paying you more than what most doctors make. Sure, some clients are easier to get along with than others, and of course the inverse holds true of escorts just as well. With that said, it’s still pretty unlikely that you won’t share some form of common ground to start conversation from. And if there is absolutely nothing to go off of, I’ll let my client tell me something about them that is entirely foreign to me. I like learning new things, which makes the conversation much more organic.
 
I have a simple take on client/escort relationships; my least compatible regular clients are still far more easy to converse with than the average guy I’d walk past at Target. Regarding frequency, I don’t think either side should bombard nor neglect the other. That is not to say I don't get snippy about some of the shifts of usage. I bridle at announcements on trains and aeroplanes referring to customers instead of passengers. It may be a useful way to remind staff that that is their relationship with the passengers, but not as a way to address said passengers.

All that has already been said definitely. Also a great client is someone who shows me their investment in our relationship by being friendly and affirming - a simple 'I'm so happy you are here' at the beginning of a session will really set us in the right direction. By being dependable as a regular and letting me know when I can expect to see them again, or letting me know if our regular schedule has changed whats up. By offering me a glass of water or a shower - which shows that they are considering me and my needs. Also clients who don't take increasing intimacy as an opportunity to undercut or barter with me, realizing that while we like each other more and more my bank account still needs the same amount of money in it.
