Thanks for the intel. Sorry to hear about this part of the experience. I've been in communication with him this week about locking in a session mainly because of this thread. Interesting. Curious what that is.
I saw him pre-pandemic in late 2019 and setting up the session was easy, even though he was clearly swamped with bookings-clients. The handful of years I've been able to hire providers I've never had this issue. That includes providers in NYC.
Before booking a session when speaking to a provider I always acknowledge they must have a busy schedule with clients, especially in NYC, and that they're not robots. That leads into me mentioning that it's important to me if they can perform, stay erect and finish. Especially since I'm more of a vanilla person, and in some ways that's the "highlight."
One popular NY provider I was looking forward to meeting a few months back mentioned that he doesn't finish easy so I passed on booking a session.
