After my post a few people contacted me via PM. Looks like a few members will have reports soon lol (if they do decide to divulge).
I spoke with him, very cool guy doesn't mind talking. From what I understand he's travelling the east coast for the month so he'll be back and forth in Toronto until the end of Jan.
He's staying in a suburb a bit far north from the city (for now) so you'll def be paying cab fare or driving a bit.
I'm thinking about it. I'm comfortable hiring him, I just have a list of guys I got to pick from this week lol.

Yeah I noticed a handful of Montreal guys came to Toronto until Christmas, then went back to MTL for a few days and are now back in Toronto (or NYC) for New Years.

We were in regular communication, including one that said "5 mins away." 20 minutes later, I text and ask if everything is ok, he responds that the hotel lobby made him uncomfortable and he left and said I should have given him more info on the lobby layout ?!?!?!

I'd still contact him and see what he says as far as what he's into. The faceless thing I wouldn't worry about too much (but that's just me personally) since I've seen him around Craigslist for about 2 years now. Mind you I haven't seen his face but all the other photos he's posted on there were hot. I noticed on his BP ad and the link you posted he didn't post as many photos and he now cleverly positions himself to cover up his tatts lol.

He's on Backpage (same pics) and was a regular poster in Craiglist's M4M ad. Don't know why he stopped posting on Craigslist but he would always mention he's only looking for generous hookups. In his CG ad he would have more pics (just body and dick, never face), he also has a tattoo right between the top of his chest and bottom of the neck. I've been intrigued a few times but in the end always ended up passing.
I will say on his CG ads he was only looking for submissive oral guys. He says he's strictly straight but loves being serviced orally for long sessions, so to now see him posting that he's down for anything is a little odd. IIRC he's Italian/Portugese or Italian/Brazilian mixed.
My advice would be to meet him in person. The pics are real and the number is legit in both ads, I know the area he resides in but I'll keep that to myself for now.

I go to a gym where the membership may be more than half Asian and the place is full of spectacularly muscled young Asian men, nearly all of them straight. One just doesn't see many muscled gay men who are Asian.
Yeah I see a lot of them when I'm at the gym or out eating in certain areas of the city but that's it.
Apologies in advance if I sound ignorant, but is it something culturally as to why we don't see this?

While he wasn't a major star, my pick would be a guy that used to act under the name Brad Cambell (or Campbell). Noticed 2-3 years back he had an ad on RM (or Rentboy I forgot). I believe he was located in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Back then I would just window shop and never dive into using an escort...probably my biggest regret to date. One of my favorites ever.
