I feel like some people don’t realize that this is a business that has a demand and a market by seasons just like any other. Places like Arizona and Florida work better during winter than summer because those that can afford it move back and forth for the warm weather.
Washington DC has a lot of movement due to various reasons. It could be seasonal for spring, conferences or work trips. Among others that I could be missing.
The same thing goes for places like Chicago and Boston. Boston is more crowded during Fall and Spring. Chicago is more popular during summer. Both of those places become dead in winter.
You have got to read and understand what drives the market, where, and why. Then break it down to your niche customer base and where they could be going to.

Personally, I almost feel like we’re in a somewhat Covid re-make right now. Flu, cold and other viruses been going around, the politics and Ice in the news everyday probably has people feeling viral as well. 
I’m thinking of temporarily retiring because it’s been slow. Last week I went to 3 cities: only had 2 clients, both regulars which I enjoy…but that’s a lot of commute and days spent.
Also: winter business in a place like Michigan may be different than in a place like Florida. However going where it’s “high season” often comes with the added caveat of much higher hotel prices.

If he has an OF or JFF site, I doubt that the provider would let *you* record the session since the whole point of making the video is to make money for *him*.  He would most likely want to control what happens with the video.  I think he’s either looking for willing guys to film and make money off of on his own OF/JFF site or not-so-subtly putting himself out there for potential porn hiring offers.

There's also PrEP in injectable form.  It's long-lasting and effective.

Even if you consider it a ‘side hustle’ you’ll need to be utterly professional in your approach: get decent pics done (not phone selfies), advertise your service (and like @ApexNomadsaid, know what your USP is), be available when clients want you which might be difficult if you’re doing full time work. You’ll need to be flexible with your time otherwise you’ll be turning a lot of clients down. Price your services correctly to fit your chosen market. Have a professional set up with a good table, proper oils etc. Be on time, reliable, consistent and customer oriented. In other words don’t treat it like a side hustle. 
How do I know? I’ve been doing it for 7 years, have lots of regular clients, and great reviews on RentMasseur. Good luck, it’s a fantastic job if you put the effort in. 
 

I’ll speak strictly as a client—so I defer to the professionals who actually do this for a living, but I’ll say this: If you’re offering a service, especially one where people are paying you for your time, body, and energy, then you need to communicate why someone should choose you.
Right now, this reads more like a fantasy than a business. You mention being turned on by the idea of getting paid, but from a client’s perspective, that doesn’t tell me what I’m getting in return. What makes you good at this? What’s your style, your vibe, your niche? Is it sensual, therapeutic, deep-tissue, connection-based? Are you intuitive, strong-handed, good with nervous clients? Etc.
This might be a side hustle for you, but to a client spending real money, it’s not a side experience. So if you’re serious, advertise with intention. Let us know what makes you worth booking—beyond the fact that you enjoy it.

Perhaps it depends on whether it's a masseur or an escort that's doing the asking. I feel that ghosting someone is rude, but it's so fucking commonplace with communication, perhaps I need to start excommunicating someone when I'm asked to send a picture, instead of complying, then getting rejected.
I'm not at all attractive, which is why I'm doing the donating! I'm not implying that every single solitary time I send a picture, a meet-up doesn't transpire, but it is getting more and more common for me to send a photo of myself when I'm asked, and not get a reply back at all, which is what happened to me today. I reached out a couple of hours later, and now I must chalk it up that he has a visual scale that I fail, so better to be rejected ahead of time then on the day of.

Believe people when they show you who they are. He's showing you he only wants to see you when he feels like it and when it's convenient for him. If that's the level of respect and professionalism you're interested in, then hey, go for it. Some men do not mind hot messes but each to their own
