  1. As I understand it, each jab represents one dose. So the 40 million doses would cover 20 million people. The UK population is estimated at some 66 million. Bear in mind that I’m talking about the UK Govt, not the US. The UK Govt has also purchased large numbers of doses of another 5 vaccines in development (but I don’t know which ones). The UK Prime Minister has urged people not to weaken their resolve with health measures as this BioNTech/Pfizer vaccine is just the first step.
  2. Professor Ugur Sahin, co-founder of BioNTech (the partner with Pfizer in developing the vaccine) was interviewed at length on BBC TV this morning. The UK Govt has bought 40 million doses of the vaccine and expects to receive 10 million doses before the end of the year. The vaccine is given in 2 doses, 3 weeks apart. IF, and that’s a big if, the vaccine is approved by the Medical Regulator in the UK, the NHS has plans to roll out the vaccine starting next month. The UK Govt has been keen to downplay the importance of the vaccine but says it’s “hope and not hype”. Prof Sahin said generally the vaccine would be delivered at the "end of this year, beginning of next year". His goal is to deliver more than 300 million doses worldwide by April 2021 which "could allow us to only start to make an impact". He added that "the infection rate will go down in the summer…absolutely essential is that we get a high vaccination rate until or before autumn/winter next year."

  4. I like the more entertaining stuff on Netflix. I’d recommend 3 dramas. 1. ‘The Alienist’ - entertaining crime drama set in NYC just before the beginning of the 20thC, with interesting individuals as the amateur investigators. I really enjoyed Season 1 and so I’m glad that Season 2 is now available. 2. I’m watching the new season of ‘The Crown‘. I found the previous seasons to be fun and sometimes quite informative. 3. I’m looking forward to ‘Mank’ - coming on 4 December. It has a great cast directed by David Fincher. I expect it to be a wonderful view of Hollywood in the 1930s. The trailer alone is a thing of beauty.
  5. I only read the thread because I couldn’t figure it out: why would steroidal gym-bunnies not have huge pecs in the future due to global warming?
  6. I say this with love and respect @Unicorn but it really didn’t take you long* to go from ‘peeve’ to ‘perve’? *to be precise, it took only 2 minutes and 9 posts
  7. I wonder about (2) too @xyz48B so please enlighten us @7829V And as to your questions, my answers are No, No and No. I topped a nice muscleboy once. He had a well worked-out physique but I found his pecs to feel soft and pillow-y. When I asked a friendly trainer at the gym the next day about this, he told me that the guy must have been really well hydrated. (I guess I’d just become used to my regular guy who was ‘Mr Hard Body’)
  8. That’s Todd Sanfield @honcho. Nowadays he’s only ever seen almost naked in briefs. He was very pretty when young (and had hair) and he did need financing when he started his own underwear line ?
  9. Before your post, @Charlie, I didn’t think so! The thread was about tailoring, the allure of formal dress and the recycling of neckties. After your graphic and exciting post, I’d certainly agree. And FWIW I once played almost the exact same scene with Jake/SF. The difference was that I specified he should be in tight white briefs. He opened his front door so dressed. We had a torrid time in his bedroom where I gave full rein to my dominant streak and he loved to comply. ?
  10. Yes, thank you @Whitman. And I agree @Trebor. Maybe I could top him while he services you. He’s a beautiful youth and he merits a full spit-roasting by 2 men.
  11. Did you see this report of 2 people being killed outside a gay bar in PV very recently? https://www.queerty.com/two-murdered-outside-popular-puerto-vallarta-gay-bar-20201028
  12. I‘ve met him on 3 occasions @honcho and we talked for some time. My young man first introduced me to him. You may desire him for his body but I doubt anyone would find his social conversation stimulating. You‘ve made those comments above before about PB and you’re entitled to your view. I stand by mine, but allow me to correct an inaccuracy in your post @honcho - PB gained his doctorate at University College London and UCL is part of the University of London, not Cambridge.
  13. Sorry to disagree with your comment @IndyGuy…but I’d add to your observation “at least, until he opens his mouth and starts to talk”
  14. Disturbing news today that Colombia now is 8th in the world ranking of countries with Covid19 infections. Colombia has almost 1million such cases.
  15. I know those two ‘boys’ - the one on the right, Giovanni, has become even better-looking with age!
  16. I strongly suggest you start studying Spanish now (online with Duolingo perhaps) and have some basic vocabulary before you go @Doe Be Doe. At least enough to say Please, Thank you and I’m sorry I don’t speak Spanish, do you speak English? You will be able to do some activities independently and get so much more out of visiting Colombia and other Latin American countries if you learn some Spanish
  17. Do you speak Spanish well @Doe Be Doe ?
  18. Perhaps the term would be ‘panther’? But if in the near future a handsome young man is stalked in Runyon Canyon, it might be ‘unicorn’
  19. Over the years I’ve spent a lot of time on vacation in Latin America @Doe Be Doe and I feel a lot of good advice has been provided here for you. Colombia would in normal times prove a very interesting destination. I think, however, what we may all be underestimating is the extreme economic stress that the countries are experiencing due to the pandemic. I‘ve no direct knowledge of Colombia currently but I doubt that conditions are any better than in Peru. I know that in Peru, and I’ve confirmed this with friends there, the economic hardship is very great as unemployment has soared. Unsurprisingly crime in Lima has increased a great deal as many people have no income and are hungry.
  20. If I may answer your question @Lucky: like fine wine, we mature and become full-bodied and complex with age
  21. They regret not being polite and agreeable to generous older men while they were in their ‘prime’.
  22. Thank goodness @Whitman that we’re back to men ”In and Out of Jeans” I’m sorry @mattr but fully clothed men in jeans just don’t do it for me. I congratulate you however on post #1541 where you show a fully clothed Paul Cassidy. A rare pic of a man usually found on the internet naked and masturbating, so much so that a fan has put a 2 part compilation of him on Pornhub.
  23. Not centenarians but my father and mother died aged 96 while my mother’s father only lasted to 90 (despite being a heavy smoker from the age of 14) and my father’s mother also died at 96. (The two other grandparents died in their late 70s) Of course, I don’t see this as any guarantee of my longevity as my life is VERY different to theirs. The oldest people I’ve known were aged 103, and both women were friends of my mother. I used to call on them socially after my mother’s death; both were lively and engaging in conversation.
  24. Wow! Admittedly I only book therapeutic massages (with no expectation of more) but the most I’ve ever tipped is 25%
  25. I used a separate account @Studsearcher as I thought it best when I started as a ‘modelizer’. Overall, my results were good. Some guys said No, but quite a few guys accepted my invitation to dinner and some were happy to date. There were only 3 guys I was very keen to date who “got away” in that we couldn’t agree on when/where/what they wanted. I never encountered any real problems, but I did put a lot of effort into being very polite and generous early on in the meetings
